Ex) Why Jesus Wasn't on the Cross - Resurrection
body description
In verse 1 of the text, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary go to the tomb of Jesus under his name.
Why were they heading towards the graveyard?
Because he truly loved Jesus.
The disciples who had followed Jesus for more than three years were afraid, and after all the disciples had left, the tomb of Jesus seemed even more lonely.
Moreover, it was still a dark night, and the women went without fear (?) to the place where the soldiers stood vigilantly.
What made this possible?
It was love.
* Comparison explanation between Luke 23:27 and verse 35 / Luke 8:2-3
Verse 8 says, “The women left the tomb quickly with fear and great joy, and ran to make it known to the disciples.”
*Explanation of fear and great joy

Example) Parable of two debtors
The greater the awareness of sin, the greater God's grace can be felt and received.
The first words of the resurrected Jesus were, “Are you in peace?” (verse 9).

Yes) You are really dead now!
Even though there are still a few steps left to despair, many people simply despair when they encounter misfortune.
I thought I would die by drowning, but I survived by holding onto a plank.
Although possessed by cannibals, they are not yet dead.
But when the young man fell into the sea, he said he was dead, and when he was caught by a cannibal, he said he was dead.
Of course, the situation is dangerous enough to feel life-threatening.
However, just as God sent a plank to a young man drowning in the sea, even though God will spare the cannibals as much as he can, the young man started with despair rather than trusting in God.
Aren't we also starting to despair even though it's not really time to die yet?
Through this Easter Sunday, I pray in the name of the Lord that the amazing work of restoration will take place in the field of your life by meeting the resurrected, life-giving Jesus as mentioned in John 11:25-26.
