Title: Must See Rome (Apostle Paul's Vision) Bible: Acts of the Apostles 19:21-31
Today's message to receive grace is the Apostle Paul's passion for evangelism and vision, with the title of “You must see Rome.” We want to receive grace together.
1. You must also see Rome.
Acts 19:21 - "After these things, Paul decided to go to Jerusalem via Macedonia and Achaia, saying, "I must go there, and then I must see Rome." During the third missionary journey of the Apostle Paul, especially in Ephesus, about three years. It was preaching the gospel of Jesus in the synagogues and in the vows of Tyrannus (Acts 19:9-10). Acts 19:11-12 - "God worked wonderful miracles by the hands of Paul, so that even people took a handkerchief or apron from Paul's body and laid it on the sick, and the disease went away, and the evil spirits went out." Acts 19:19 -“Many of those who practiced magic also gathered the books and burned them in front of everyone. When they counted the price of the books, they were fifty thousand pieces of silver.” In Ephesus, the winds of Jesus, preaching, and heaven blew vigorously in the Ephesus region. I did. The church in Ephesus was greatly revived. Because the word of God saves life.
Let our church embrace the vision of evangelizing Sejong City and making it a holy city. If our church has a dream of evangelism and leads only three people at a time, 3,000 members will be revival. Doesn't your heart swell just thinking about it? If the empty space is filled, God will be happy and dance. Jesus will see and rejoice. There is a sermon book called “Experience Heaven and Expand Heaven”. I am Professor Chang-Hoon Kim, who teaches preaching at Chongshin University’s Graduate School of Theology. The content is the book of Joshua. After Moses died, the Israelites saw their faith in the God of Joshua, the successor, and obeyed them with strong and bold faith and leadership (Joshua 1:1-9). It is about the founding of a country. When God is with you, your family, society, and country will prosper. Let us follow the law of looking that the Apostle Paul said we must also see Rome. You must see a revival. You should see the dedication service. You should see the church bus running full of saints.
Happy Day 527 You must see the clouds rolling in. Those who are weak will see health. Young men and women of marriageable age will see marriage. I will see a couple who are married and have no children. If you look to God with faith, He will make it happen. If you are going to Cambodia missionary, shout out. Keep your dreams in your heart. I will see Cambodia, and especially young people, please see the missionary vision.
2. Demetrius' sabotage
Ephesus was a port city, a city of transportation, trade, entertainment, and idols. In particular, a man named Demetrio made a lot of money by producing and selling silversmiths to make Artemis idols and various amulets. If you believe in Jesus, you must throw away the idol that God hates the most and do not purchase idols. Demetrius, obsessed with greed, incited his business partners to gather at the theater to demonstrate (Acts 19:24-34).
However, God calmed the crowd and dispersed the illegal assembly through the scribe (Acts 19:36-40).
Wherever the gospel enters, the evil enemy devil and Satan always interfere. But Jesus is more powerful than Satan. Let's evangelize today with the power of Jesus. Let's raise the wind of Jesus, the wind of evangelism, and the wind of life, so that they can dance with the joy of God.
