Even if your thoughts come up, you realize that the person speaking is your life saver, and you immediately say “yes” and return to obedience. The Lord is very happy to welcome such people.
In today's text, Jesus says, "If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me." This saying is not to admit your own reality. Our reality is that we are already dead in our sins. However, when we say that we believe in and follow Jesus and acknowledge me as a living being, it is the same as saying that we will not acknowledge the reality of Jesus in the end. In the words of the Lord, when you say 'deny yourself and take up your cross', this means that you do not acknowledge your own existence. Even if you use an unfair accusation, do not try to make excuses for it, and you are told to die. If you are innocent, I will raise you up on the last day. that is what you are saying. This should be our belief.
