Title: You will reap what you sow
Contents Bible text: Proverbs 11:15-31 Title: As you sow, you will reap
Proverbs 11:15-31.
15 A person who is a guarantee for another
Peace is with the one who hates to be a guarantee. 16 A virtuous woman finds honor, and a diligent man finds wealth. 17 A merciful person benefits his soul,
The cruel man harms his own body. 18 The wages of the wicked are in vain, but the reward of the one who sows justice is certain. 19 He who keeps justice brings life.
Those who follow evil lead to death. 20 A crooked person is hated by the LORD,
He who has perfect conduct is pleased with him. 21 Even if the wicked hold hands with one another, they will not escape punishment.
The children of the righteous will be saved. 22 What a beautiful woman does not take care of is like a gold ring in the nose of a pig. 23 The desire of the righteous is good, but the hope of the wicked brings wrath. do you have a job
If you spare too much, you will only become poor. 25 Those who love alms will have abundance.
He who refreshes others will also be refreshed. 26 He who does not bring forth grain will be cursed by the people.
Blessed will be on the head of the one who sells. 27 He who earnestly seeks good will find favor.
Evil will come to those who seek it for evil. 28 He who trusts in his riches will perish.
The righteous will prosper like a green leaf. 29 The income of the one who harms his house is wind.
A fool will be a servant to the wise in heart. 30 The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, and the wise win men. 31 Behold, even the righteous will receive a reward in this world, how much more will they be wicked and sinners.
* Galatians 6:7 says, “Whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.”
1. The wages of the wicked are different from those of the righteous. (18-21)
2. Those who give and those who are stingy reap differently. (24-25)
Jesus Himself said, "More is the one who gives than the one who receives."
Luke 6:38 says, “Give, and it will be given to you;
I will press it and shake it so that it overflows, and I will give it to you.”
3. Those who depend on wealth and those who depend on God will reap differently. (28)
Matthew 6:24 24 No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate him,
Either you love me, or you cherish the one and despise the other.
You cannot serve both God and money. I conclude with 1 Timothy 6:7-10. 7 We brought nothing into the world,
Nor can we take anything with us. 8 If we have food and clothing, we will be content with it. 9 Those who want to be rich are tempted and a snare and many fools
Falls into pernicious lusts, which plunges men into ruin and destruction. 10 The love of money is the root of all evil, and those who covet it
deceived and departed from the faith, and pierced himself with many sorrows.
