you will prosper again
Job 22:21-28
Verse 23 says, “You will rise again.”
No one wants to fade away. Everyone wants to thrive. God wants us to prosper.
In Genesis 1:28, God blessed the people he created and said, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it, and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the air and over every living thing that moves on the earth.” . In particular, in today's text, Job is recorded in the Bible as "a man who overcame extreme hardship and trials and triumphed" and "a man who received double blessings after suffering." Text: God blesses Job, "You will rise again."
○ Throughout our lives, God has given us the opportunity, place, and time to do many things, but looking back, there were many things we regretted. There were times when I failed. But God declares that you will rise again. You can get up here again. It means that there is another opportunity in God, and the conditions in which all things are possible are given again in God. So even those who have failed will thrive again. Please believe that God has the power to rise again even for those who have been completely destroyed. So who will ever be able to thrive again?
First, we must be reconciled to God (verse 21).
“You are at peace with God. If you do, good will come to you.” The word ‘reconciliation’ in Hebrew here means ‘to bring close together, to draw close to each other’. What an honor it is that we can draw close to God. I feel honored even when a person shares a seat with a person of high status. However, we do not know how great a blessing it is to us that we humans, as creatures, have been chosen so that we can draw closer to God, our Creator.
James 4:8 “Draw near to God. Then he will draw near to you.”
So, how close can you be to God? John 15:7
If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you want, and it will be done for you. Let us dwell in the Spirit of God, and believe that the Lord comes and dwells in our hearts.
He delights in being with us closer than anyone else in the world.
As can be seen from the parable of the prodigal son, when we leave our father's arms, we lose everything and we become devastated by eating pig's food.- What's the lesson hidden here? Anyone who deserves a son, has the opportunity to enjoy wealth, and is a son who has all the good conditions, if he leaves his father!! Leaving God!! He teaches you to be the prodigal
Nevertheless, when the prodigal son repents of his sins and returns to God, the father welcomes him again. Again everything was restored. Everyone. If you are in despair and frustration because your business has failed while you are far from God, please restore your relationship with God. As long as you are reconciled with God, you will surely prosper again.
Thank you for living in this grace that allows you to be close to God today.
In fact, why do people feel lonely, lonely, and lonely? 1) When there is no one who must be by your side or the one you must love, you feel lonely.
2) When you leave the place where you must be, eg) When you leave your hometown, you are lonely because it is not the place you used to live. But those who believe in Jesus have joy because God is with them. Bless you. Amen
When we draw near to God, the Lord will hold us wherever we go and where we live. So you are not a loser. I am not unhappy, God is with us. Amen
I believe that He will give those who believe in that way the power to rise again and fill them with no lack. Therefore, being close to God is a great blessing to me.
○ How can we be reconciled to God? ① You must believe in Jesus Christ. Through faith, we can draw closer to God. “Now that we have been justified by faith, let us have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ” (Romans 5:1) of passage.
② We must rely on the merits of the blood of Jesus Christ on the cross. “For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life” (Romans 5:10). He reconciled us to God by dying on the cross for us.
In Ephesians 2:13 it says, “Now you, who were formerly afar off, have been drawn near by the blood of Christ in Christ Jesus.” Therefore, those who have not yet returned to God must believe in Jesus and be saved as soon as possible. That way, no matter what you do, you can stand up again.
Second, we must keep the word of God in our hearts (verse 22).
“I beg you, take instruction from his mouth, and keep his words in your heart.” Some people hear the word of God, put it only in their ears or in their head, and then either pour it out or forget it immediately. We must keep the Word of God in our hearts. The word of God is alive and has the power to work.
Acts 19:20 says, “The word of the Lord had power, and it prospered and gained power.” 2 Timothy 3:15-17 “The Scriptures are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be perfected for every good work.” Those who have the Word of God are blessed. Psalm 1:1-3 says, “Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers, but his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law he meditates day and night. . He is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither, and all its deeds prosper."
119:11). Those who have the Word of God in their heart do not worry. Philippians 4:6,7) “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. Then the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
Even if you become a child, if you do not have a word, you will be anxious and anxious, and you will do foolish things like a child. I hope that the word of God will work powerfully in your hearts today. I wish you good luck
Acts 19:20 “The word of the Lord was strong, and it prospered and gained power.” Amen
Third, we must avoid injustice (verse 23).
“If you return to the Almighty, and if you forsake injustice from your tent, it will rise again.” Even if ten million or ten million gold is in your hands, it is not a condition of blessing. Rather, it may make you angry, and you may lose something better because of it. Unrighteous wealth will be revealed someday. God is a God of justice.
Even if a child of God lives an honest life and suffers some loss, and even if they are told that they are an idiot for living an honest life, please believe that God will surely bless them later if they live honestly.
Proverbs 14:11 says, “The house of the wicked will perish, but the tabernacle of the upright will prosper.” The upright seem to perish, but in the end they will surely prosper.
Job 8:5,6 also says, “If you seek God diligently and pray to the Almighty, and if you are pure and upright, he will surely visit you and make your righteous house prosper.”
○Dear brothers and sisters! There is a covenant that God has promised to those who shun unrighteousness.
① Almighty God is His treasure. “Then the Almighty will be your treasure, and your precious silver” (verse 25).
② He makes everything you manage to come true. “Whatever you manage, it will come true” (verse 28).
③He makes his way prosper. “Let light shine upon your path” (verse 28).
In the name of Jesus, I pray that you will become all the saints who receive God's promise to always draw near to God, meditate on God's Word day and night, stay away from injustice, and live honestly and prosper.
