your faith has saved you
(Mark 5:25-34)
This world is a world ruled by God. Believers who believe in and serve God should not become discouraged or give up believing that God is with them, even if there are difficult difficulties. In today's text, there is a poor woman who cannot find hope. This woman had been suffering from a disease called hemorrhage for 12 years, and even though she went to all the doctors who said she was willing to cure it, it did not get better, and she was in a state of complete despair. But this desperate man has been restored. Why? Because of Jesus Jesus healed this woman's disease. Only Jesus Christ can solve the problems in our lives. He is the only true healer. But not everyone is healed and restored by the Lord. You must have faith. In today's text, there is a principle in her faith, who was saved through her faith. When you follow this principle, the grace of restoration will come like this woman.
1. I heard the word/verse 27.
Romans 10:17 says that faith comes from hearing. What she heard was rumors that Jesus healed any disease. If you hear the word of the Lord, you will have faith, and if you have faith, you will have hope. If we listen to the Word, hope and faith arise, but if we do not listen to the Word, even our existing faith will be shaken. Therefore, you must come to the place of worship to hear the Word. But the reason this woman was able to hear about the Lord was because she had a preacher. Romans 10:14 says, How shall they hear without a preacher? Therefore, we believers must share the gospel with unbelievers.
2. He spoke the word of faith/v.
The second step in faith is to put what you believe into words. The bleeding woman had no one to listen to, so she spoke to herself. Verse 28 says, “Because I thought that if I touched only his clothes, I would be saved.” But he said he was talking to him. We too must declare to ourselves. Romans 10:10 says, “With the heart one believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made, resulting in salvation.” You have to admit what you believe. And in today's text verse 30, the Lord knew that power had gone out from you and, knowing that the woman had been healed, sought this woman. The Lord was looking for this woman to make her confess to the Lord that the bleeding was cured. A clear confession of faith in the Lord is important. Confession of faith is praying to the Lord. The work of faith happens when we say positive words and pray to God.
3 There was faith in action / v. 27.
If you listen to the Word, you will have faith, and if you have faith, you will confess with your mouth, and you will pray. Verse 27 says, “When he heard the word about Jesus, he joined the crowd, came back and touched his clothes.” Hearing the news of Jesus and doing the works that came to Jesus, he was healed of the bleeding. Faith without action is of no use. Faith is not a feeling. Being full of emotions does not mean being full of faith. Having the knowledge or understanding of faith does not make it belief. Right faith is faith with works. Dead faith is faith without works. A living faith is a faith with works.
I hope that you will become a saint who recovers through faith in the summary of the Word. If you earnestly listen to the Word, believe in what will happen, admit it, and act, the Lord will work.
