Title: Your Own Judgment Criteria / Faith Column
Content Your own judgment criteria / Faith column
There were two women arguing in the Philippian church. One was named Euodia and the other was Syntyche. However, the names of these two wives were recorded in the book of life (Philippians 4:3) and were already saved saints. However, their discord was having a very bad influence in the church. Paul exhorts them to "be of the same mind in the Lord."
In fact, we Christians are hard to forgive others. Because we judge the actions of others based on God's standard of judgment. When judging something, they look at the essence in it and look at the motive for doing something. If we see the faults of others according to God's standard, no one will pass that standard. So it seems that discord among Christians is more difficult to reconcile than among non-believers. Because it demands absolute standards from the other party. So what we have to remember is that we are all still in the process of being made. We are not yet finished. Because it is a vessel that is still being molded, you may make a mistake or fall. Not only that, no matter how right I am, if I am thorough with other people's faults, God will not forgive my faults. Because it is a proud heart and a heart that God hates.
Prayer; Heavenly Father, allow me to be tolerant of the faults of others, and especially to forgive their sins. In the name of Jesus I pray. Amen.
