Title: Against the Wrong Messiah Coffin!
Even at the time of Jesus, those who had had lived abundantly, but those who had not had always been unable to escape from the life of slavery to others. Even now, those who cannot have it, want to free themselves from slavery and live freely at least once. At that time, the vision of the Messiah of those who were enjoying wealth and those who were wearing religious strife was aimed at liberating themselves from Roman oppression as soon as possible, so they knew that when the Messiah would come, all these problems would be solved at once.
However, on the other hand, the poor and those who are enslaved to the Messiah's view of the Messiah hoped that they would enjoy the freedom to eat and drink to their heart's content, free from the wretched poverty and slavery of others. .
So, as in today's text, even as the sun goes down, they do not intend to return to their place of residence, and they all listened to Jesus and stayed there without moving, saying that they would fix the broken man. It is the human instinct to eat when the time is right.
It is usually a difficult situation for the students who follow the teacher in a place where there is nothing to eat even if the day is already setting and there is nothing to eat. However, if they have enough money to buy food for so many people, they don't have the money, and even if they have money, where do they go to buy them all at once? It really can be a difficult task.
It was even vulgar as the teacher didn't seem to care at all whether or not he knew the true circumstances of such disciples. Until now, while following the teacher who gave signs and wonders, they had been pointed at by many people, but still, they became the object of envy by the poor and those who were slaves to others and made them proud in front of them. It wasn't a word.
People flocked like clouds and did not intend to return to their homes at all, but instead sat down to spend the night together in an empty field, so it would not have been usually embarrassing for the disciples. In addition, everyone is starving for dinner, so how can anyone not panic in this situation?
As our proverb says, “Thirsty man digs a well.” At that time, the disciples tried their best to make the people who were there do simple yogis at any cost, but they couldn't find a sharp number with their own abilities, so they decided to sit down. I asked Jesus countless times, saying, “Teacher! This place is empty and it is already late. Send the crowds to go into the village and buy something to eat!” Then Jesus said, “I have nothing to go, give me something to eat!”
The disciples looked surprised by the enemy and replied, “We have only five loaves and two fish.” He told them to bring them to me, and sat them side by side on the grass. The Bible records that when he looked up and gave thanks, he broke the loaves and gave them to the disciples to eat.
Not only the disciples, but also the multitude of people who had gathered there had their own reasons for why they could not just keep their mouths open to Jesus' miracles. Not long ago, the disciples had no face in front of people because of their inability to provide food for many people.
However, because his teacher fed so many people with bread and meat, their situation changed 360 degrees at once. And the reason the many people who had gathered there were surprised was not because they were surprised by Jesus’ words and articles, but because they were moved by the hope that if they followed this person in the future, they would not have to be slaves to others and could escape from this terrifying poverty. I was surprised.
The case that proves this is the words at the end of today's text. After Jesus made many people eat bread and meat to their full satisfaction, the disciples' disparity in their spirits must have been so great that they could not even open their eyes. Because of their incompetence, they could not speak freely in front of people, but since their face was restored by one incident of Jesus' miracles, how much bluffing and arrogance in front of people would they have shown?
Jesus, who recognized the disciples' feelings more quickly than anyone else, told them to leave as soon as possible out of love and care for them. After leaving the disciples leaving behind in the boat, Jesus Himself goes up the mountain. Then at night he walks on the water and comes to the disciples. On this day, as the day dawned, thousands of people clearly saw Jesus going to the mountain, and they were making a fuss about where the hell he had gone. However, the reason they are looking for Jesus is because they are afraid that the food of the flesh will be cut off, not the Messiah who gives us true life.
When they crossed the river in a boat and met Jesus, they asked, “Teacher, your boat was still on the other side, so how did you get here?” Even now, they do not realize anything about the fact that five thousand people had more than enough to eat with five barley loaves and two fish on the other side of the river that evening.
If you are a person who has achieved great things with such a small thing, it would be nothing to cross a river like that. The ignorant people do not focus on “Who the hell is this?”, but simply solve their own miracles and wonders. You can only think that it is enough if you make them eat rice cakes and meat to their full stomach. It really can't be that sad. So far, if you go to the temple to die and slaughter sheep and offer sacrifices, but the only thing you get is eating and drinking to your stomach again, how foolish have you been doing this?
In this way, the view of the Messiah varies according to the living conditions of people. The rich and those who are zealous for their religious beliefs want to accumulate more wealth and rise to a higher position on this earth, just as they believe that when the Messiah comes, all these problems will be solved. Conversely, the poor and those who are enslaved by others live for the purpose of freeing themselves from such poverty and slavery, so they believe that this problem will be resolved at once when the Messiah comes.
the word is correct. However, the difference in interpretation is so great that it is difficult to understand unless you throw away your own thoughts. Humans accept and interpret all these things as carnal, but the Messiah interprets and practices all these things spiritually, so there is a huge difference from human thinking. Today, through the text, we must completely tear down our wrong view of the Messiah (the thought of the flesh) and know exactly what the Lord is really coming for.
