offer him there as a burnt offering

Sermon content
God promised that Abraham's descendants would be as numerous as the stars in the sky, but it was not until he was 100 years old that he
He brought Isaac from Sarah.
Abraham was very pleased with this, but God commanded him to sacrifice his only son Isaac as a burnt offering to test Abraham.
Abraham got up early in the morning, saddled his donkey, took his two servants and his son Isaac, and took wood for the burnt offering.
I split it up and went up to Mount Moriah.
On the way, the servants stayed, and when they came to the place God had instructed them to, they tied up Isaac and slaughtered him and offered him up as a burnt offering.
At that time the angel of God stopped Abraham to have a ram as a substitute for the burnt offering, and did not spare his only son.
He rejoiced in the faith of Abraham, who feared God, and blessed him.
Lesson
1. Final Maximum Test
It is the ultimate and greatest test for Abraham to offer it as a burnt offering of Isaac, the only one God obtained at the age of 100.
Abraham was faced with such a difficult test, but on the contrary, he rejoiced and volunteered to prepare.
The reason is that Abraham never suffered any loss when he obeyed God's commands in many religious experiences in the past.
For, no matter how great or small the command was, all worked together and experienced something beneficial.
Therefore, God's command to sacrifice his only son Isaac was regarded as a great blessing.
2. Sacrifices that satisfy God
It is difficult to offer the burnt offering that God requires, but God's most holy and
It is more difficult to offer a sacrifice that satisfies justice.
Abraham offered a sacrifice that was satisfactory to God,
1) I volunteered.
Even the only son, Isaac, who was born at the age of 100, gave it to him with a sincere and joyful heart, not forcing him to do so because God requested it.
God is pleased with voluntary gifts.
2) I gave sincerity.
He wanted to prepare wood for the burnt offering with all his heart, and to carry it on his back and offer it with sincerity.
3) It was given in advance.
In offering the sacrifice, the order that was already realized when carrying out the order was performed with heart and soul.
And the earnest reverence for God and the good conscience of sincerity and sincerity were realized with future inspiration.
All of these events were preliminary, not ad hoc or sudden.
Because of that, he blocked all the devil's schemes, defeated both his wife and his servants, and with God's help, he was able to handle it well.
4) It was given by faith.
Hebrews 11:19 says, “He thought that God was able to raise him from the dead.” did.
Abraham believed that God Almighty could raise Isaac from the dead and multiply his descendants as promised.
had faith in the resurrection.
