What is blasphemy against the Holy Spirit?
The Holy Spirit came for the saints and is in charge of all parts of the saints. The Holy Spirit always exists for the benefit of the saints, but if the saints make a mistake, they commit the unforgivable sin because of the Holy Spirit, and fall into eternal hell, not the kingdom of God. Therefore, believers should always be careful while living their life of faith. I must make sure that the Holy Spirit does not grieve or grieve because of me. Today, let's become saints who receive grace by examining the sins that hinder the work of the Holy Spirit.
What are the sins that hinder the work of the Holy Spirit?
1. There is a sin of rejecting the Holy Spirit.
Acts 7:51 You stiff-necked people, uncircumcised in heart and ears! Against the Holy Spirit, you always do the same as your fathers did.
2 Timothy 3:8 Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so they also oppose the truth; these are corrupt in heart and forsaken as to the faith.
Exodus 32:9 The LORD said to Moses, "I have seen this people, a stiff-necked people.
1 Samuel 8:19 The people refused to listen to Samuel, saying, "No!
Jeremiah 32:33 They turn their backs on me, and their faces not on me; I teach them, but I teach them diligently, but they do not listen and do not receive them.
Zechariah 7:11 They hate to obey, they turn their backs, they cover their ears to not hear.
To resist the Holy Spirit means to oppose the Lord and fight against the Lord. At that time, there was no sign of obedience to God or a desire to listen to the Lord's words among the Jews at that time. To these Jews, Stephen cut off his neck and said that he was a stiff-necked man. Therefore, the sin of rejecting the Holy Spirit is wicked stubbornness and outright disobedience, an act of openly rejecting the Word and teachings of the Lord.
2. There is a sin that grieves the Holy Spirit.
Ephesians 4:30 Do not grieve the Spirit of God, in whom you were sealed until the day of redemption.
78:40 How many times have they rebelled against him in the wilderness, and grieved him in the desert?
Jeremiah 45:3 You said earlier, Alas, the LORD has added sorrow to my affliction; I am weary with my groaning, and I am not at peace.
Isaiah 63:10 And because they rebelled and grieved the Holy Spirit of the Lord, he turned and became their enemy, and he struck them down
Genesis 6:6 He was grieved in his heart, grieving that man had been created
Worry means deep sorrow. It means intense bitterness in the heart. Anxiety has degrees. Worry is more profound than simple sadness. The Holy Spirit, like a dove, is very sensitive. with all malice. anger and wrath. chattering. Blasphemy, impurity, lying, giving the devil a chance, stealing, etc. are sins that grieve the Holy Spirit. If you continue to grieve the Holy Spirit with these things, you will eventually be judged by God's wrath. If you continue to grieve the Holy Spirit, you will eventually become an unforgivable sinner and receive the punishment of hell.
