Title Acts2 - Saturday Vision Worship
It has been a year since the Vision Worship started. The three generations of the immigrant church wanted to receive a vision as one. We wanted to pass on the faith of our parents' generation. When the Holy Spirit comes in the last days, when the Holy Spirit is poured out on all people, it is a vision worship service that the 3rd generation started to dream and move forward. We know that a change happened when we prayed in Acts 2. I hope that the work of Acts 2 will happen again through the vision worship. Just as the Holy Spirit came and changed us when we prayed, we want to find out what kind of change we should make and what kind of people our children should become.
First, we are a bold people of the gospel.
The gospel is good news. When the Holy Spirit comes, they begin to speak in other languages. People from all over the world are amazed. Acts 2:11 [We hear them speaking in our own tongues the great things of God.] Although they spoke different languages, they were speaking the same gospel. That's the best news. This was when Britain was at war with Napoleon of France. On the sail of the ship carrying the news of the war, British commander, Wellington Defeated was written. When the British people saw this, they knew that they had lost the war and were disappointed. At this time, when the fog that surrounded the ship lifted, it did not read Wellington defeated Napoleon. It was written with something completely different. Isn't that great news?
There is news that Jesus died on the cross but rose again. Jesus' tomb is empty. It is the gospel and the good news. This is something you need to learn and know boldly. When the Holy Spirit comes, we need to be a bold people to preach this to. If it is the gospel that will raise the dead and break death and authority, it is preaching without shame. It is the gospel that saves.
Second, we are a community of God united in the Holy Spirit.
We became one by the coming of the Holy Spirit. If you look at the solar system, it revolves around the sun. The planets are held captive by the sun. Only when the Holy Spirit takes the sovereignty and the Holy Spirit is at the center can we become one. After the Tower of Babel incident, they were scattered in different languages, but now the Holy Spirit has come and they are united with the gospel of Jesus. Our vision must become one, our prayers must become one, and our hearts must become one. The answer to that prayer must come from me.
Third, we must pay attention to God who will do new things.
He says he is doing new things that you did not know before and never imagined. We need to pray and wait for what the Lord will do. The Lord is trying to do a new thing, but we are stuck in a small but comfortable box and cannot get out. The Christians in Acts 2 were small and feeble. They were struggling to survive. However, in Acts 2:41 [the number of disciples increased by 3,000 on that day.] As the Holy Spirit worked on them who were struggling to survive, we see that the number of thousands of believers increases. When the Holy Spirit works, powerful power comes out. The Lord wants us to finish His work now and through the next generation. We do not stop at the level that we inherit and protect well, but we build a church in LA and the East, a church in an Indian sanctuary, a church in Japan, China, South America, and North Korea. It refers to a vision that allows us to embrace the kingdom of God in our hearts. Behold, I will do a new thing, so I am telling you not to cling to the past.
To draw a line passing through all the points using three lines with four points, you have to draw a big picture through the points. You have to get out of your current position and go far, but the most important thing is to obey the command to come out. Even if there is a question about why you have to come out, you have to go forward with obedience without saying anything. When the Lord tells you to go out, you go out. There are many difficulties and dangers in the ongoing church planting and Holy Wave English worship, but we believe and move forward. It's going outside the realm of what I can plan.
