Title Acts 01:1-11 Testimony Minister
Contents Sermon Title: Testimony Minister
Bible Text: Acts 1:1-11
Topic Scripture: Acts 1:8
“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will come to Jerusalem, and to all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.
You will be my witnesses."
Holy night.
A good night to pray. You can meet the Lord tonight.
Autumn is deepening and the sound of falling leaves makes you find your hometown.
The autumn scenery that embroidered our hometown was often spectacular with the dance of the beautiful stars in the night sky. When I went to China last week, the night sky I saw at Dongdae Church in Musun was also very beautiful. I pray that the life of faith and spiritual vision of all the members who are praying together tonight will be just as beautiful.
I want to grow this church, which the Lord has granted me and the saints to serve, and make it a church that God is pleased with, but I do not have enough strength. Sometimes my intentions are distorted and misunderstood. I can't sleep. But the Lord gives you strength. We will achieve the renewal of the church so that we can be born again into a gospel community of vision and gifts. Alone in the wilderness, it will be accomplished with the spirit of a prophet. We will be with 1000 prayer co-workers who pray together.
Testimony minister!
It was because of the protection of human rights that respected the personal privacy of the saints who had to testify. It seemed to reveal a history of an incurable disease, a history of demon possession or a mental illness, and a shameful past such as alcoholism or drug addiction. In the future, if it is to protect the human rights of the members and take care of them, we will keep the information of the members obtained during the ministry until the day we die.
However, there is one thing that I realized while praying. The protection of individual human rights must be kept, but God, who has given us power, must speak. Personal care and protection of human rights are good, but humanistic and unbelieving attitudes are wrong. We must talk to God.
The Samaritan woman in Suga was proud of her experience of meeting Jesus even though she had five husbands. Zacchaeus also testified of his experience. Mary the prostitute also spoke, and the Syrobonige woman who healed her demon-possessed daughter also testified. Although they suffered their own pain, they were courageous. If we truly are ministers of the gospel of God, we must boldly testify. You must bear your testimony proudly. We need to talk about God who saved me, saved me, and healed me. Only then will the power of God continue to appear. You can continue to receive God's grace.
Ladies of the saints!
Among the structures God has given us, the mouth has tremendous power. Because you can spread the word. It can be an instrument of the Word. However, some people misuse the mouth, which is the instrument of the Word, in many cases to cover up the glory of God.
To all those who have not made their mouths as instruments of the Word, repent tonight. Here's a wide blank sheet of paper. A star is drawn in the middle. What do you see? If it's ten, all ten people say it's a star. Yes. But we should be able to see the remaining blank space, not the stars. How do you see only 1% of the stars? You should be able to see 99% of the remaining white space.
James said that if there is no mistake in his words, he is a perfect man. (James 3:2) Therefore, he urges us to tame the tongue. (James 3:1-12) How can we tame it? See the 99% advantage. See the 99% bright look. Why do you despair of being trapped in the dark? Why do you miss the cause of your life by being caught up in the little faults of others? Now go out to 99% of the land and see the beautiful world.
And bear your testimony with those lips. Talk about God, talk about the Holy Spirit experience, and talk about meeting with Jesus. And testify that prayers are answered. Some of us have been cured of cervical cancer and have given birth to children. Some have been treated for depression. Some people have been cured of mental disorders.
There are those who have given material things to God. Some people gave me a job, and the deacon's husband, who came to the morning prayer meeting, passed the promotion exam. There are people who have cured drug addiction, and there are people who have healed cerebral hemorrhage and cerebral infarction.
There are people whose business has prospered and their life has been restored. My husband, who was persecuting me, became a deacon. Some people found God while wandering away from home, while others saved their families by falling in love with a husband who had abused them sexually.
Speak now. Now you must tell the story of God. So, let's testify that God is alive to those who are desperately praying. Let's give hope. Now, let's put aside our murmurings, envy, and blasphemous words, and become a witness minister who is completely faithful to God.
Let's pray like this tonight.
1. Lord, let our lips become instruments of your Word.
Let us share only the word of God, let us speak only of our experience of meeting God, and only tell holy stories that are worthy of your gospel. Please do not let me become a bitter root trapped in 1% of darkness, and let me see the vast and free land of 99% and tell you only the wonderfulness of the Lord.
2. Lord, help me to testify of all the gifts I have experienced through the power of the Holy Spirit.
Now let me speak of the living God, more for you than me, more for your glory than me, and more for your church than me. Help me to become a testimony minister filled with the Holy Spirit who speaks only of the work of the Lord.
I believe that the Lord will comfort all the souls who earnestly long for and pray tonight. I believe that God will uphold and comfort you all in grace. Experience only the Spirit Dance
