Title Acts 01:4 Do not leave Jerusalem
Do not leave Jerusalem
Acts 1:4
This text is what Jesus said to his disciples just before he ascended into heaven. According to the saying, “Do not leave Jerusalem,” about 120 saints did not leave Jerusalem and received great grace while praying together. He is absent. However, when God gives grace to the saints, it is given through the Jerusalem temple, and when he is glorified, God receives it through the Jerusalem temple.
Today's modern people live with so many problems personally, socially, politically, and nationally.
To solve this problem peacefully, many international organizations have been created and scholars are searching for clues to a solution, but it is getting more complicated. However, God wants to solve all these problems in Jerusalem. Do not leave Jerusalem. is to pray.
What does Jerusalem really mean?
Jerusalem refers to Jesus Christ. Jerusalem refers to the temple of God. Therefore, not leaving Jerusalem means not leaving Jesus, and going up Jerusalem means going up the temple of God. We can receive the word of God (Isaiah 2:3). If we leave there, we will receive nothing. Those who have departed from the Lord will have only misery. Therefore, the place we will stay is Jerusalem. The place we will go up is also Jerusalem. When there is joy, there is happiness when you stay there. There is medicine to heal the sick. It teaches the wounded how to heal wounds. There is comfort, joy and peace. It's a blessed place. So, didn't Jesus tell everyone to come to me? The drunkard, the murderer, the prodigal, the adulterer, the disloyal, and the liars must all come to Jerusalem. When they come, they will repent and be healed. Evil hands will be turned into hands of service. Evil hearts will be turned into hearts of love. Only Jerusalem This is the place that makes us all good.
It is because of Jerusalem that Israel is blessed. Jerusalem has 400,000 citizens living on top of the mountain. They do not live on the fertile Jordan River. They do not stay there because the land is fertile. Jerusalem is a rocky mountain. Why? There is something holy. There is God. Because there are gracious words, worship, and prayer. It is the same for the modern saints. The chosen one of God loves Jerusalem and the glory of the Lord who dwells there. and under the hand of the Lord who blesses and the power of the Lord who protects. The soul prospers in Jerusalem.
However, there are not only good things in Jerusalem. There are many difficulties. The dangers and struggles of war with the Arabs are inherent. Our religious life is not without difficulties. There are many trials, conflicts, and dislikes. So, how many people leave Jerusalem, who should not leave? Only God's people are protecting Jerusalem, and Gentiles cannot live in Jerusalem. Because there are so many difficulties there. There may be difficulties in the church as well. A child of God must not leave the church.
If you look at modern people today, they say that they are busy and not interested in the message and do not go to church because they do not like the message. It is clear that Jerusalem is a place of giving grace, not heaven. It is a place where God meets us, a place with only clean and holy things. It's not. It's not the only good place. When we leave Jerusalem for such a little thing, it's that little thing that eventually meets a robber, and it's what makes it difficult to avoid. We must live in Jerusalem for the rest of our lives. David prayed, "My God, do not leave Jerusalem nor leave your house." You must not leave even for a moment. You must not leave because of your feelings, because of difficulties or difficulties.
Let's be embraced in the Lord's arms and live according to His will. Then we can find peace. When we believe in the good Lord Jesus Christ and go to Jerusalem according to His will, the Lord makes our cups overflow and grants our supplications. He has mercy on your prayers.
The saints who go up to Jerusalem must not come down. There is the Jordan River, but you must not go to the Jordan River. The nation blessed in Jerusalem is Israel, and the saints who are blessed through Jesus in the temple are us today. We are in this world where sin is rampant. And we must not envy the plains that deceive us with man-made things. We must not envy the city of Sodom. We must not be tempted by the world. There may be visible things, but invisible spirits, God, grace, salvation. , there is no Jesus Christ.
All the saints who love Jerusalem today! I pray in the name of the Lord that the great blessings of Jerusalem will always be with you according to the word of the Lord on your families and in the future.
