Title [Acts 21:27-40] Paul who suffered
Text: Acts 21:27-40
Title: Paul in Suffering
In the text, the Apostle Paul's sufferings in Jerusalem are recorded in detail. By introducing the contents, we are seeking divine lessons and trying to receive grace together.
1. Paul suffered from the Jews (27-31)
③ Those who are prepared will learn that they can endure tribulation without fear. Paul had already heard the voice of the Holy Spirit that he would suffer in Jerusalem. And while praying, he thoroughly prepared for suffering. In his determined determination, “I am ready not only to be bound, but also to die in Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus” (Acts 20:13), we see the dignity of those who are prepared. It is like Jesus, who was about to be crossed, and took up the cross proudly after praying in the Garden of Gethsemane. For believers, tribulation itself is not afraid of it, but rather the fear that they will betray the Lord because of the tribulation. Therefore, we must prepare (we must pray hard). We must pray and be armed with the help of the Lord. “Watch and pray that you may not fall into temptation,” he said, “the spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak” (Matthew 26:41). He said (Ephesians 6:18).
2. Paul rescued by the commander Claudius Lucia (31-40)
