Title Acts 03:1-10 Changed life
Changed life
Acts 3:1-10
President of Columbia University, Nicholas, said that there are three types of humans in this world.
① Few people who cause problems
② A large number of people who ignore the problem
③ Most people don't even care what happened
In addition, it can be divided into kinds of people like pests, people like ants, people like bees, people who should not exist, people who have mana, people who must exist, etc.
Through today's text, I would like to think about three types of life.
1. Passive Life
Such a life means a crippled life. This crippled life has lost its independence and is being supported by others. A closer look at his life
① He was born lame. (3:2)
From a spiritual point of view, life means being born crippled, and that crippling is due to sin.
② He led a dependent life
Such a life can be said to be a begging believer who cannot live a life of confession of faith and follows others' prayers, other people's worship, and other people's faith.
③ It was a life that took the temple and its back.
Thousands of people went to the temple, but this crippled man lived with his back to the temple in body and mind. I only had the heart of what to get.
④ I spent a long time as a cripple.
This kind of life means a person who has never lived a life of faith on his own. They cannot become self-reliant in their faith and have faith that they are always carried on by others.
2. Peter and John lived an active life.
Such a life is a spontaneous life. It is a life of giving, and it can be said that it is a life of sharing and enjoying joy in faith.
① It refers to a believer whose prayer has become a lifestyle.
② It refers to believers who live centered on the temple.
③ It refers to believers who share.
The reason the modern church is helpless is because it blames the lack of financial resources, environment, or talent. These are those who do not know the mystery of being filled with the Holy Spirit and being rich by the power of the Lord, in the name of Jesus Christ.
How many churches are corrupt because of gold and silver? The true church of Christ must stake its life on giving the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Dear saints, let us become givers in the name of Jesus of Nazareth.
3. Changed life
A change has taken place for the crippled. He was around the temple every day. Above all, the decisive motive for his rise was that when he was told to walk, he believed the word and got up by faith. That was the motive for the change. So what changes have occurred?
① Changes in the body have occurred. ② Life has changed. ③ A spiritual change occurred.
The first place he walked was inside the temple. He was no longer outside the temple. I became a man in the temple. His lips were no longer the lips asking for money, but the changed lips of praising God, giving thanks to God, and worshiping God. It has become a life that looks at God rather than looking at people. A life that is not dependent on people, but has become a life that depends on God.
Dear saints,
Today, around the temple, even inside the temple, there are crippled believers. Let's give them the name of Jesus Christ. And let's take their hands and lift them up. Let us lead you to the Lord. So let's sing the hymn of freedom together vigorously
