Why only Jesus? (Acts 4:5-12)
May the words you hear today become the most important words in the world. Help us to believe that Jesus Christ is our only solution.
Jesus Christ is our Savior. Anyone who believes in Jesus Christ will be saved. God offers salvation to anyone who confesses and brings Jesus Christ into their lives.
1. What is the meaning of salvation?
1) Many people misunderstand or partially understand the meaning of salvation. Salvation may be interpreted as something related to the flesh, or it may be interpreted only in connection with sin. Or, there are people who understand it only as much as going to heaven after death. But while we are alive, salvation in reality is of utmost importance. It is important to experience salvation in reality, and the experience of salvation in reality grows with the belief that there is salvation even after death.
2) Past salvation is important, but present salvation is more important. Salvation not only encompasses all temporal realms of the past, present, and future, but it pertains to all realms of life. In this way, salvation is comprehensive and has a much broader meaning than you might think.
2. Believe in Jesus Christ and be saved.
1) Salvation can be thought of as being delivered. It is like a drowning person being rescued. It's like being rescued from life's pain like a raging fire. This is salvation. When you get lost in illness, in things that are not humanly understood, or when you are lost and wandering, you believe in Jesus Christ and you are saved.
2) Delivered from guilt. Freedom and restoration from the bondage of sin, slavery to sin, and sinful habits through Jesus Christ. A good system in society, medical insurance cannot solve the anxiety. If there is a way out of this, that is salvation. People need salvation. Salvation is not just a hope and a wish. It is to experience with the assurance of salvation in our lives.
3. Salvation is healing.
1) You must receive treatment for physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual problems. Fear, social phobia, emotional anxiety, easily broken emotions, anger, and hatred of others require treatment. Especially spiritual diseases can be healed through Jesus Christ.
2) You need recovery in your life. We must live in balance and harmony. The complicated structure of our life makes our life abnormal, and the way we go towards success and success in life causes us to lose the balance of our lives. Such disorder can sometimes destroy families. If you believe in Jesus Christ, you become a normal human being. When your faith grows, you are supposed to live a very normal life. Fall means loss of normal life. We must return to God. That is salvation and restoration. When this returns to God through Jesus Christ, there is restoration, deliverance from problems, and healing.
4. The life of those who have been saved
Believers were allowed to be saved. However, they do not enjoy all the blessings of salvation and are missing out on their lives.
The reason is that we do not properly know the Jesus Christ we believe in. We must know Jesus Christ properly. Jesus Christ solves all problems!! We should know Jesus Christ, the prophet, priest, and king, as the One who heals and completely solves our problems in our problems. If you do not know its meaning, you cannot enjoy the blessing of salvation.
5. The Uniqueness of Jesus Christ
Many do not agree with the uniqueness of Jesus Christ. There is no way to be saved except through Jesus Christ. You can get help from other religions and other ways. However, true salvation cannot be obtained. Human effort, best, and good deeds offer comfort and some help, but ultimately do not solve the problem. Returning to God is the only way to receive salvation. Jesus Christ is the only way to salvation and the only way to God. (John 14:6) (Acts 4:12)
6. God is a God of love.
1) The justice of God is Jesus Christ. A perfect, perfect, and holy God.
God's love and justice are found in God.
We seek the things of the world rather than seeking God. It is us who try to live by following the customs of the world. We need to know that there is a force behind us that prevents us from leading a righteous life. The existence of Satan must be clearly known. In order to destroy Satan's work, God sent the Son of God as a confirmation of his love.
2) God wants to restore mankind. (Genesis 6:6) The only way, the way that is allowed, is Jesus Christ. (Romans 5:8) He said that the expression of God's supreme love is Jesus Christ. He expressed God's love to the fullest. God's justice was fulfilled. It is the death of Jesus Christ on the cross. (Romans 3:19-) Jesus Christ died for all mankind. Those who believe in Jesus Christ are justified by this. (Psalm 85:9-) He said that Jesus Christ would die on the cross for mercy and truth, righteousness and peace. All of this did not happen by chance. It was a demonstration of God's righteousness. (John 17:2-)
God, who is righteous, is now continuing the work of redemption through us through the Holy Spirit.
7. Why Jesus Only?
1) Salvation is meeting God. The only way to meet God is to hold on to and believe in Jesus Christ.
2) Only Jesus Christ has solved the original sin case. Even if humans work hard for good and righteous works, they cannot undo the original sin of leaving God. The only way to restore is through Jesus Christ. (Genesis 3:15) This is the only answer God gave when man fell. There is a huge difference between our standards and God's standards. Our efforts are not acceptable to God. Believing in Jesus Christ is the only way to forgive original sin.
3) It is the one-sided grace of God. Anyone who believes in Jesus Christ will be saved. Jesus Christ is God's unconditional love and grace. God gave Jesus Christ as a gift for us. You will have to live your life fully enjoying the blessings of salvation God has given you while receiving it with thanksgiving.
Prayer) Thank you for the Lord Jesus Christ. Let us know that Jesus Christ has been given to us because there is no way of salvation except through Jesus Christ. Help us to believe in Jesus Christ, whom God has given us, and help us to achieve salvation, so that we can live fully enjoying the blessings in salvation.
