Title Again Salvation

Contents

October 24 Mark 10:17-27

Subject : Again Salvation

A great player or musician strengthens the basics every day.

Salvation again today - Almost everyone here must have confidence in their own way of salvation.

But let's go back to the basics of salvation once again, check my salvation, and live in confidence

Even in our faith life, there are many cases of misunderstanding even though we are confident

Common misconceptions will be resolved with time, but some misunderstandings have a huge impact on life. Especially, misunderstandings about salvation have a serious impact.

A young man - in another bible (youth ruler) - who was a very intelligent elite came to Jesus and knelt down and asked a question. Good Teacher, what must I do to gain eternal life?

Then how can the Lord say that I am good ? There is no one good but one God

When J.X spoke of the Ten Commandments, the young ruler answered confidently - I have followed all of them since I was young. Then the Lord lacked one thing - sell your possessions, give it to the poor, and follow me (the young man left the Lord sad because he had a lot of money)

Word of the Lord - Do you know how difficult it is for a rich person to go to heaven? When he said that it is harder than a camel to go through the eye of a needle, were the disciples terrified? So how can people be saved? Humans cannot do it, but God can do it.

Today, through these words, let us think about the misunderstandings that we must throw away about salvation.

Let go of the misunderstanding of gaining salvation by doing it.

On his knees - this young man is humanly polite.

If you had the possessions, the power, and the wisdom, people wouldn't care much about eternal life or after death, but this young man asked a serious question.

We too must ask essential and serious questions. Just as a person's thoughts determine a person

But this young man had a misunderstanding.

What must I do to be saved? In other words, he considered the salvation of the action theory that something must be done in order to be saved

People of the world - almost all religions - soteriology of works

So, what do you have to do hard?

How did Jesus answer? To a young man who asks a question - asks for the 10 commandments - he did not ask it

The young man had a lot of greed for wealth, so when he talked about it, he couldn't get over it.

If someone else asked (if the poor man asked, say something else), the Lord wanted the young man to acknowledge and accept his weaknesses and limitations and to kneel humbly before the Lord.

No matter how hard we try, there will always be something we lack.

Therefore, what the Lord has asked for is really sell your possessions and come and you will receive eternal life. But he wanted to confess it and teach him that it cannot be done through human effort and deeds.

However, not knowing its essence, the young man misunderstood and left the Lord.

No matter how hard we try and what we have (whether it be wealth, knowledge, beauty, or power, it is impossible to enter heaven with it and gain eternal life - that is, as a camel goes through the eye of a needle)

Lord - Man cannot do it, but God can do it

what do you say? - To obtain salvation (eternal life), you must follow God's method

God's way?

(Ephesians 2:8-9) By grace you have been saved, through faith, and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God (not by works, so that no one can boast)

salvation by faith

who? Jesus - what to believe in Jesus (His death)

Why did he die? Atonement for the forgiveness of our sins (that He paid the price for)

(Mark 10:45) “For the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life a ransom for many.”

Salvation is not something that I force myself to obtain, it is acceptance of what God has done.

(Ephesians 2:8--9) Gift

If a wealthy relative gives me a Benz (why should I say no or should I be grateful?), of course I should get it right now.

(John 1:12) To those who received him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God (that is, just believe and accept it).

If you are saved, actively do good deeds and live a life of serving and saving other souls.

How can I actively live a life that pleases the Lord? It is because our lives will become more fruitful lives of those who have been saved when we focus on them.
