title anointing
Contents
The anointing is Christ. The kings of the earth went forth, and the rulers conspired against one another, against the LORD and his anointed (Psalm 2:2). The Bible clearly testifies that “the anointing” is “Christ.”
If the anointing is Christ, then Christ is the one true God who has anointed one of the many to inherit the name of the Son, to some extent superior to them.
It is written, “Who do you say I am?” Simon Peter answered and said to him, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” Jesus answered and said to him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jona. My Father who is present” (Matthew 16:15-17), you are the Christ, the Son of God, who was chosen and anointed from among many.
Concerning Christ, the Bible says, “He was by some means superior to the angels, and he inherited a name more beautiful than them. When did God say to any of the angels, ‘You are my son, and today I have begotten you?’ And again I will become a father to him, and he will He will become a son” (Hebrews 1:4-5), and again, “As for the Son, O God, Your throne endures forever, and the scepter of Your kingdom is a scepter of justice. For you loved righteousness and hated lawlessness, therefore God, your God, has anointed you with the oil of joy, so that you are superior to your fellow men” (Hebrews 1:8-9).
In the above verse, the record, “He inherited a name more beautiful than them, by how much he surpassed the angels” is proof that he inherited a name more beautiful than angels or servants, namely, the son.
When the servant inherits the name of the Son from his servant, that name, that is, the Son is the life of the Father, so he himself testified, “As the Father has life in himself, he also gave life to the Son, so that he may have it in him” (John 5:26). is.
The son, or the inheritance of life, is as testified in the above words, “God, your God, has anointed you with the oil of joy, that you may be superior to your fellow men.”
Therefore, according to the evidence, “To which of the angels did God say, ‘You are my son, and today I have begotten you,’ and again, I will be a father to him, and he will be a son to me?” It was not, but a son was born in one of the angels. And he said to the son, "You are my son, and today I have begotten you. Again I will be a father to him, and he will be a son to me." That is, when a person is born again to God, a new life born again is like becoming a child of God. This is because angels do not become sons of God. It is the same as it is written, “What is born of the flesh is flesh, and what is born of the Spirit is spirit. Do not marvel at me when I say to you that you must be born again” (John 3:6-7).
In the above words, it is clear that “friends” are angels, servants of God, who were created from the waters above before the division of the bottom of the firmament, that is, before the foundation of the world. This is evident from the evidence that “Jesus said, ‘You are from below, I am from above; you are of this world, and I am not of this world’ (John 8:23). This is the same as it is written, "I speak the Spirit," the LORD said to me, "You are my son; today I have begotten you" (Psalm 2:7).
The Bible says about angels, “Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?” (Hebrews 1:14).
Among his fellows, God anointed an angel who loved righteousness, an angel who was gentle and humble in heart, and gave him the name of a son by anointing him with the oil of joy, so that he would be superior to his kind.
This Son is the Beloved Son of God, completely different from the Son of Destruction, who sits on the throne of God and shows himself to be God. The Bible testifies about this Son, saying, “Behold, my chosen servant, my beloved, with whom I am well pleased; I will give my Holy Spirit, and he will make judgments known to the Gentiles” (Matthew 12:18). There came a voice from Esau, saying, "This is my son, the chosen one; listen to him..." (Luke 9:35).
Although he was sent into the world as the Son of God, he emptied himself and became obedient to death in the form of a slave, giving up his body to serve the heirs who would be saved. It is written, "Christ gave himself for our sins to deliver us from this evil age, according to the will of God and our Father, to whom be the glory forever and ever, Amen" (Galatians 1:4-5). It is the same as the words of the testimony.
For this reason, the Bible says, “Have this mind in you, which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not regard equality with God as something to be robbed, but emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, to be with men And being found in human form, he humbled himself and became obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. Therefore God highly exalted him and gave him the name that is above every name, both in heaven and on earth and under the earth. so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father” (Philippians 2:5-11).
Not only this, but rather, as a servant, Christ Himself served the heirs who would receive salvation in His body. It is written, "Then he poured water into a basin and washed the disciples' feet, and began to wash with the towel that he was draped with, and he said to Simon Peter, "Lord, are you washing my feet? You do not know, but after this you will know. Peter said, “You will never wash my feet.” Jesus answered, “If I do not wash you, you have no part with me” (John 13:5-8).
The son born above is by an angel, and the son born below is by a man. Therefore, Christ Jesus came from above as below, and the people of Christ Jesus are from below and form the above. It is written, “Jesus said to them, “The children of this world marry and are given in marriage; but those who are counted worthy of the other world and the resurrection from the dead marry and are not given in marriage, and they cannot die again. You are equal to angels, children of the resurrection, children of God” (Luke 20:34-36).
“The angel said to me, Write, Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding supper of the Lamb.” And he said to me, “This is the true word of God.” So I fell at his feet to worship. And I am a servant like your brothers who have received the testimony of Jesus. Do not be so, but worship God. The testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.” (Revelation 19:9-10) Amen, thank you Lord.
