Title Answer your questions

Contents The title is the second half of verse 3. You can see that the tribulation and suffering that Job had suffered up to this point was something he didn't want to even express, and it was too hard to bear. At this time, God, who exists in Himself, asks Job a question and urges him to give an answer, and it continues to Chapter 41, and Job had to come to his senses.

1. Appearance of God 1-2

(1) Aspect of God who asks questions 1~ “Speaking to Job in the midst of a storm… ” When Elihu’s lengthy monologue was over, the Almighty and Almighty God came to visit the wandering Job. All problems will be solved. As Job's pain increased, he longed to meet God and struggled countless times to hear his voice. Those who suffer should pray (James 5:13), and God hears them (Psalm 65:2; 69:13). The “storm” in the text refers to the danger of God mentioned by Elihu (Job 37:9), and it is a frequent phenomenon in God's presence (Ex 19:9-20, Judges 5:4-5, Psalm 18: 8-16). This revelation of the manifestation of Almighty God is a preliminary event for the coming of Jesus Christ, and speaking to Job seems to be the answer, as Job had longed to hear (Job 31:35).

(2) God's majesty of rebuking 2~ “Who is the one who darkens the reason with ignorant words?” The introduction is stupid and stupid, and it is especially understood that these “ignorant words” do not have the knowledge of God (Hos. 4:1, 6, 6:6). Because Job did not understand the deep will and economy of God, he became “a man who darkened the reason.” Because Job did not know God's providence and plan of redemption, he complained to God when his suffering was severe. We too can serve God rightly when we know God's “rules”. Jesus rebuked Peter, saying, “Matthew 16:23a, you do not think about the things of God, but rather the things of men.” I thought I was doing God's work, but when it was a human work, I was used by Satan (Matthew 16:22-23a).

2. A tense life 3-4

(1) Careful attitude of those who will answer 3~ “You will tie your waist like a general manager and answer what I ask you.” The first half means armed for battle or preparation for solving some difficult task (Ex 12:11, 1 Kings) 18:46, Jeremiah 1:17). It is to answer God's questions by carefully controlling yourself and preparing yourself with an attitude that is not disturbed and your heart. Job wanted a direct interview with God and waited for a conversation (Job 9:35, 13:3, 22, 23:3-6, 31:35). However, when he was told to face God and give an answer, he repented without saying a word (Job 42:1-6). There are many difficult and difficult things for us as well, so there are times when we cry out to the Lord. Pray always (Luke 18:1), pray constantly (Ephesians 6:18), pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17), repent (Job 42:1-6), and receive double blessings ( Job 42:12-) .

(2) Humans cannot answer 4~ “Tell me, where were you when I laid the foundation of the earth?” From this verse to the end, through all things created by God and the principles of all things, God of wisdom and power reveals what In fact, there is no “foundation of the earth” and the earth signifies the beginning of existence (Gen. 1:9-10). At this time, Job did not exist and that he himself was nothing more than a creature of God was reaffirmed through his confession (Job 32:22) and his friend (Job 36:3). Job is speechless because he has neither knowledge nor wisdom about God's creation. Today, we too were not even at the time of the foundation of the world, so we have no realization or knowledge of God's providence like Job. We should be humble, worship God and serve our neighbors.

[Conclusion] Although Job endured the trials in his early days and overcame them with faith, there were many difficulties in the tribulation that overlapped. We too will fail if we try to put our limited wisdom or weak will first. If you want to overcome the world and overcome poverty, you can enjoy peace in the Lord who has overcome the world (John 16:33).
