Title Answered Prayer/James 5:13-18
Content God is my Father, the source of blessings who takes great pleasure in hearing our prayers.
Psalm 81:10 says, “I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt; open your mouth wide and I will fill it.” Psalm 94:9 says, “Does he not hear? Lia?" And in Psalm 91:15 he says, "He will call upon me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in their troubles, and I will deliver him and glorify him." Also, Deuteronomy 4:7 says, "As whenever we pray to him, he is close to us." Among the saints living in the last days, the happiest are those who receive answers to their prayers. Prayer is an opportunity to be filled with the Holy Spirit. It is the window through which we can receive all the good gifts of God prepared in heaven. It is the power to bind Satan and the power to untie the bonds of evil. 1 Peter 4:7 says, "
I bless you in the name of the Lord that you may experience the power of the Way. If you look at the text, you can see that prayer has the power to bring about healing (v.15) and bring life to the dead (v.18). Prayer is a gift of gifts and a blessing of blessings. Now, I would like to testify of God's Word with the title of "Answered Prayer". We hope that all our prayers will be answered. How can our prayers be answered?
1. In verse 16 of the text, it is said that the prayers of the righteous have much power to work.
What is the supplication of the righteous? From the context, we can see that it was Elijah's prayer. In 1 Kings 18:30-40, the prayer of the righteous Elijah is introduced. It was a prayer to shrink the collapsed altar and offer a burnt offering cut out of the calf for atonement. It was a prayer of repentance. God answers the prayers of the saints who repent and pray. Isaiah 1:15 says, “When you open your hands, I will cover your eyes and you will pray much, but I will not hear you, for your hands are full of blood.” Isaiah 59:1-2 says, “ The LORD's hand is not short, that it cannot save, neither is his ear dull, that it cannot hear; but your iniquities are
He has made a separation between God and your sins have hid His face from you from hearing.” Also, Jeremiah 5:25 says, “Your transgressions have put aside these things, and your sins have prevented the good from coming to you.” Look at Luke 15. There was comfort and blessing in which all good things were restored to the second son who repented and returned to his father's house. If you humbly bow before God and pray, you will surely receive grace by giving up what you throw away and paying back what you have to build up. The recovery is perfectly successful. Prayers of repentance come up before God. When the Philistine army attacked, Samuel offered a whole burnt offering to the Lord, and the problem was solved.
(1 Samuel 7:9-10, He sent out a great thunderstorm, causing the Philistines to be defeated before Israel.) When the enemies of Ammon and Moab attacked, King Jehoshaphat of Israel at that time defeated the enemies with a repentance and fasting prayer and achieved a great victory (2 Chronicles 20) :1-30). Seeing people in the saints, despair and discouragement
I pray in the name of the Lord that you do not become a failure like the people of the world who grumble, look at yourself, repent because you are ashamed of your incompetence and impurity, and turn to God for prayer and refreshment.
2. What prayers are answered?
Let's look at the text of James 5:15. “The prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up, and if he has committed any sins, he will be forgiven.” Look at Matthew 21:22. “Whatever you ask in prayer, believing and asking, you will receive it.” Hebrews 11:6 says, “Without faith it is impossible to please him, for he who comes to God
You must believe that He exists and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” The second condition of answered prayer is faith. Our Lord grants us all that we ask for and believe. Our Lord said, “Jesus said, What do you mean if it is possible? Nothing is impossible for those who believe!” (Mark 9:23).
Let's remember the word sin (Romans 14:33). When Jesus healed the sick, He confirmed their faith (Mark 5:34, Matt 9:28-29). If you remember that you can do everything as God and pray with complete faith, God's work will surely appear. Our Jesus rebuked the disciples for their lack of faith. "Why did you doubt? You of little faith!" You did. Our members ① Faith to believe as if we have seen things we have not seen ② Faith to die for the Lord ③ Faith that people are powerless but God is omnipotent saints
Just drop a drop of oil on the rice bowl. Can you eat that rice? Do not mix doubts when praying. James 1:6-8 says, “But ask in faith, and do not doubt at all. The one who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. Do not expect such a person to receive anything from the Lord. all" he said. faith is hope
He said they are the reality of things (Hebrews 11:1). If we ask the saints for faith, God is with us, who makes the things we hope for come true. “With the heart a man believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation” (Romans 10:10). Abraham shall offer his only son Isaac as a burnt offering
in obedience to God's command and ascends towards Mount Moriah. asks his son Isaac. “Father, the wood and fire are ready for the sacrifice, but where is the lamb for the burnt offering?” Abraham answers. “Son, God himself will provide a lamb for a burnt offering.”
(Gen. 22:8). God saw Abraham's faith and immediately prepared a ram whose horns were caught among the bushes. Let's ask for faith in all that we ask for, and do not mix any doubts with it. God is a perfect God. Therefore, God also wants our faith to be perfect. He said that if we believe in our saints, we will see the glory of God. I pray in the name of the Lord to pray with faith and to share in the glory of God.
3. If you look at the text of the text, the answered prayer is earnest prayer.
Verse 17 says, "He prayed earnestly that it would not rain, and the heaven gave rain and the earth bore fruit." You did. When our members do not lose heart, give thanks in everything, and pray earnestly with longsuffering, works will surely come true. Because God has promised. Despite his dire circumstances, Daniel never became discouraged. Rather, he was grateful and continued to pray as he had done before. The work of God's great power was revealed. On the day Jesus died on the cross in the Garden of Gethsemane, he said that when he prayed at dawn, the sweat from his forehead fell like blood and fell to the ground. With thanks for everything to the end
It was what you prayed for. Our saints, let us also pray like this by setting the example of the Lord. If you pray, saying, “If you die, you will die, for your strength is made strong in weakness.” The saying is fulfilled in him. Let us pray with earnest thanks and patience. According to 1 Kings 18:42, when Elijah prayed on the top of Mount Carmel, he put his face between his knees and prayed seven times earnestly.
I did. In the end, hallelujah, the gates of heaven that had been closed for 3 years and 6 months were opened and a heavy rain fell. Your earnest prayer has been answered.
Conclusion: I pray in the name of the Lord that all of our members will achieve great victories through prayer.
