Title Are you happy?

Hymns: 500 (New Hymn 446) 'Except the voice of the Lord'
Meditation: Many people think of happiness as a concept of wealth, but happiness is not in what we have or what we learn. Happiness is the feeling of being grateful for what God has given you. What is the true happiness that we as saints should enjoy?
Confession of Faith: Apostles' Creed
Text: “Above all else, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life, and let crooked speech out of your mouth, and perverse speech from your lips” (Proverbs 4:23-24).
There was a paper published in the New York Times titled 'The unhappiness of sad people is a matter of habit'. Behind a sad or unhappy person is a bad habit. Also, if happiness is repeated in a person, it becomes a habit. When a habit continues, it becomes character; when character continues, it becomes destiny.
Happiness is in the heart. It is that I can be happy or unhappy depending on whether I currently have a happy or unhappy heart. How many unfortunate things are happening because we do not guard our hearts? We should always have a happy heart. God loves me and is always with me. And he protects and takes responsibility for our lives. There is no reason not to be happy.
Happiness depends on language. The text says, "Let crooked speech out of your mouth, and perverse speech from your lips."
A person who only opens his mouth and pours out crooked, crooked, and negative remarks will never be happy. What language do I like to speak today? We must cast away doubts, distrust, and negative language within us and live using the language of faith and positive language.
Prayer: God of love! Please keep our hearts more guarded, and let us put away crooked and crooked words within us. Help me to be a happy person who speaks positive, trusting language! I pray in Jesus name. Amen.
