Title Are you truly free from yourself?

Are you really free from yourself? (Isaiah 61:1)
We live our lives in our own way.
Are we Christians really free from the material, religion, and devil of this world? Our Jesus said that if we know the truth, we will be free (John 8:32). For humans, freedom is the greatest privilege and happiness that God has given humans to enjoy.
1. Freedom and Truth
(1) The word freedom is expressed in two languages in English. liberty and freedom. If liberty is freedom from -, then freedom is the freedom to enter into -.
(2) We cannot be truly free if we do not have the truth to risk our lives. What is the truth?
First, it is Jesus Christ (John 14:6). Christ gave us life because he finally set us free from sin. Second, the Word of God is the truth (John 17:17). Where the word of God comes, freedom comes (John 8:31-32). Third, the Holy Spirit is the truth (John 14:17, 15:26, 16:13). Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is always freedom (2 Corinthians 3:17). In this way, the Triune God sets us free.
2. Jesus sets us free.
(1) The purpose of Jesus coming to this earth is for “human freedom” (Luke 4:18-19, Isaiah 61:1). He sets the captives free and the oppressed free.
(2) When a person commits a sin and does not find the way to receive forgiveness, the devil tests us from that point on. The difference between a child of God and a child of the devil can be compared as the difference between a son and a servant. It is a matter of freedom. Children of God are free. But children of the devil are not free. Servants have no freedom.
3. So, only when we believe the truth can we truly be free.
(1) Christians who believe in Jesus have already been set free in Jesus (Galatians 3:13). If we have this kind of faith, we should now pray about how to use our freedom instead of praying for freedom (Galatians 5:13).
(2) We Christians can enjoy true freedom only when we have faith that identifies with Jesus (Galatians 2:20). The Jesus in you is the Jesus who died on the cross. He is the Son of the living God, who died on the cross and rose again the third day. So, because of Jesus Christ who is in us, we are able to enjoy eternal life that will give life to our mortal bodies as well.
4. Now, please set specific goals to live for the Lord and put them into practice.
(1) We must fight ourselves so that Jesus becomes the master of our lives (Galatians 2:20).
(2) Evangelism and living must be the main occupation of life (Matt. 28:19-20). The Lord came to this world to free the bonds of human sin and finally died on the cross to take upon Himself the sins of mankind. But He rose from the dead. The Lord who overcame the power of death and sin The Lord who overcame the power of sin over all people, made it possible for everyone to enjoy freedom from the power of sin. This is the truth that sets us free. This must be conveyed to the ends of the earth.
⑶ We must serve our neighbors with love (Galatians 5:13). A man who serves his neighbor is one who is free from his corrupt nature, who uses men to please himself.
Resolution Message: Those who know the truth in Jesus are free.
People whose world is not the standard of life, but God's standard, know the truth and live by believing the Word of God, so they can enjoy freedom in the law of the Spirit of life. Also, you can live an abundant life, believing that it is the truth that sets the Word of God free. Please be free in the truth by evangelizing to the ends of the earth for Jesus and serving your neighbors.
