Text: Ephesians 6:1 4
This period is often referred to as the “Crossed Age”. What broke down?
1. The Age of Breaking the Hierarchy
2. The era of the collapse of economic ideas
3 million people with bad credit, 400,000 unemployed young people, 300,000 children from malnutrition, 279 trillion won in national debt (it is said that the current government has doubled). At birth, an infant is born with a debt of 6.5 million won. Neither the people nor the government leaders are sober. Even when the economy is difficult, it is pathetic that the leader only gives away. So, even if the younger generation graduates from college or graduate school, they do not think of becoming independent, living with their parents without a job, and as a result, marriage is delayed and there are more singles. You have to change your mind. Only then will God bless you.
3. The era of the collapse of the national view
After the Middle East, the Korean Peninsula is the world's second most dangerous place. But government leaders are weakening and shrinking their military power. Indeed, national security is collapsing. It has become a world where soldiers are beaten by civilians and transported to hospitals. Whether the war that was ceased 55 years ago does not exist on this land forever, whether they have forgotten the shame and oppression of the Japanese colonial rule, or whether they are trying to play the role of a country on the outskirts of China again, the ignorance and wrong ideology of the government leaders have already gone beyond the limits of this country. has long since been thrown into the swamp of destruction. Let's pray more for our country and people.
4. The Age of Falling Families
If you look at the destruction of your home
① The divorce rate is rapidly increasing among the older generation, ② the married generation avoids having children, and ③ the youth run away from home and wander. We have entered an era in which we recorded the world's lowest fertility rate, and it was easy to learn to know our parents and teachers.
The Apostle Paul prophesied in 2 Timothy about these times.
“People love themselves, love money, pride themselves, arrogant, slanderers, disobedient parents, unthankful, unholy” (2 Timothy 3:2). It is the image of the times and the image of us. But all these words have nothing to do with the family. The family is collapsing due to the sinful appearance and the wrong flow of the times. You have to leave these things behind and turn around. Paul said, “He who has a form of godliness, but denies the power of godliness, turn away from such people” (2 Timothy 3:5). For the God-given family, husbands are responsible for the economy by working hard. For the family, wives must pray hard and take responsibility for their faith. That's Dory. The home is a little heaven that God has given us. The home is a little paradise in this world that God has given us. The family is the model and shadow of the kingdom of heaven that God allows us to experience.
Dear saints,
Parents are objects of learning and respect when they are young, and objects of care when they are old. Always remember that I am not the parent who will protect me, but the one I have to protect. Let's take this time to think once again about the role of children toward their parents. In the name of Jesus, I pray that you will become a filial family, a family that prays, a family that stands firm with the word, and a family that rebuilds the broken things. Hallelujah, Amen.
