Title Autumn Sermon (Psalm 136:4-9)
Content God reveals Himself in many ways. Among them, you show your craftsmanship, ability, and providence through nature. Psalm 136:5-9 says, “Give thanks to him who made the heavens with wisdom, to him who stretched out the earth on the waters, to him who made the moon and stars rule the night, for his mercy endures forever.” He praised Jehovah's mercy. It is the autumn season of Cheongomabi. The power of the tyrant flame that was hot as if it would melt even a stone is now gone and it is a clear autumn. The mountains are adorned with beautiful colored leaves, and the golden ripples of five grains are ripe in the thousands and thousands of nights. The autumn leaves of paulownia trees recommended by the west wind are the autumn of mourning, and the wild goose that has lost its mate on the moonlit night of the recommendation is the autumn of sorrow. It is an autumn when the fragrance of wild chrysanthemums in front of the yard is fragrant, and an autumn where crickets are crying under the wall.
1. Autumn tells what summer was like If the beauty of autumn is the result, summer is the cause. If the grains and trees did not grow and endure through the hot sun and rain of summer, the beauty and five grains of the autumn mountains and nights would not be abundant. If the summer is dry, the autumn is dry; if the summer is persevering, then the autumn will reap hope. Psalm 126:5 says, “Whoever sows in tears will reap with joy.” When I went to a funeral in a rural area, there were no mourners or Sangyeo. The locals say that there was no instance of going to a condolences shop while he was alive. So I've been told that people don't go to condolences. This is what you sow, so you reap. The same is true of faith. We have to work hard to cultivate the autumn when our faith is settled, and in the summer. Only those who work hard and work hard can welcome autumn.
