Title Becoming One Body in Christ

Contents

If you could summarize the various verses in the doctrinal section of Romans 1-11, what would it be? It says in verse 1, “Therefore, brethren, because of the mercies of God I Haven't you had many ups and downs in your life? Nevertheless, I have to say that all these things that God has protected, helped, healthy, and blessed so far are the result of God's mercy.

The Apostle Paul explains his view of the church in Romans 12:4-5. “For though we have many members in one body, not all members have the same office, so in the same way we, who are many, are one body in Christ and members of one another.” He said that he became one body in Christ. It is the church that has become one body in Christ. So, what is Christ of the church? becomes the head. Christ is the head of the church, and the church is the body of Christ. Do the worshipers become members of the church?

1. Christ is the head of the church.

The head and body always act together. But the moment the body falls off the head is the moment of death. Just as the body cannot be separated from the head, and the branch cannot be separated from the vine, so we believers cannot live apart from Christ.

And the body always obeys the head. Your hands and feet are supposed to move as your head tells you to. But sometimes, the body doesn't follow the instructions of the head. In some cases, they are paralyzed when sick. However, if you truly repent and return to Jesus, Jesus will heal all your paralyzed and sick members. Just as the body obeys the head, so we are to live in obedience to Christ. The will of Jesus Christ must be my will, the work of Jesus must be my work, and the glory of Jesus must be my glory.

2. The church is the body of Christ.

3. The saints are members of the church, which is the body of Jesus.

We have features and features in our body. But did you see the members fighting with each other? Did you see your eyes and ears fighting each other? Have you ever seen your hands and feet fight each other? I don't fight. Likewise, quarrels, strife, and quarrels should not exist for the members of the church, which is the body of the Lord. We must be at peace with each other. We need to learn to cooperate with each other.

Some of our members are visible and some are invisible. The members of the body cannot be seen with our eyes. heart, liver, lungs… How important is the back? In order for the church, which is the body of the Lord, to revive and stand up stronger, we must work hard on what we can see, but our church can be revitalized even more when there are more members who are working hard on things that are invisible.

Dear saints, Christ is said to be the head of the church. Even now, Jesus wants to work through us. We are to be Jesus' hands, feet, eyes, and ears. The church is the body of the Lord. We must truly love the Church, which is the body of the Lord. In the name of Jesus, I pray that our Hwabong Church will become a truly beautiful heavenly community by becoming a precious figure of loving, respecting, and building up each other among the members, and that the number of people being saved will increase every day like the early church.
