① In Luke 12:16-20, “There was a rich man, and his field produced abundantly, and he thought in his heart, “What shall I do, since I have no place to store the grain?” And he said, “I will do this. Then I will say to my soul, "Soul, you have many goods laid up for many years; rest, eat, drink, and be merry." But God said, "You fool, tonight your soul will be retrieved, and you Whose will the preparations be?” ② In Luke 16:19-31, the Lord spoke of a rich man wearing purple and fine linen, communicating with each other luxuriously every day, dying and falling into the hell of hell, suffering in the midst of flames. said ③ These are people who did not prepare for the heavenly kingdom in the next world, but lived as liaisons for the world only and then fell into the eternal punishment hell.
“The death of Paul, who received the crown of glory and righteousness upon entering the kingdom of heaven”
“I have already been poured out like a drink offering, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith. and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for His appearing” (2 Timothy 4:6~8) ② After Paul met Jesus in Damascus and went to the third heaven, he devoted himself to preparing for the kingdom of heaven where he would go after death. Faced with death in front of him, he was full of hope for heaven, and while looking at the glorious heaven, he sang the song of victory. ③ Also, Paul declared, “Not only to me, but also to all who have longed for the Lord’s appearing,” because he lived a life that prepared and advanced all those who were related to him toward that heaven.
“Biblical Lessons on What Saints Should Do Before Death Comes”
① Jesus said, “If your hand... your foot... your eye causes you to sin, cut it off and take it out. Entering the kingdom of God with one hand, one foot, and one eye requires two hands, two feet, two eyes. It is better than taking it and being thrown into hell” (Mark 9:43-49). ② “Therefore, we do not lose heart, for on the outside we are decaying, but on the inside we are being renewed day by day. to work for us a weight of glory, for we do not look at what is seen, but on the invisible, for what is seen is temporary, but what is not seen is eternal” (2 Corinthians 4:16-18) I earnestly desire to be clothed as a dwelling place, so that the naked may not be found…” (2 Corinthians 5:1 4) ③ “…with holy deeds and reverence, looking forward to the coming of the day of God and earnestly longing for it. (2 Peter 3:11-12) ④ “The heart of a wise man is in a house of images, but the heart of a fool is in a house of communication” (Ecclesiastes 7:1~4).
