Title Before Winter Comes
Before winter comes (2 Timothy 4:19-21)
When Paul was young, he was a Jewish lawyer who took the lead in persecuting people who believed in Jesus. After meeting the risen Jesus in Damascus, he became a new person and spent the rest of his life evangelizing, but he was beaten while evangelizing. I was starved, stoned, and imprisoned. Then, in the end, they were taken to Rome and sentenced to death, and many of Paul's followers went back to their hometowns. What you left behind is today's text.
Before winter comes, I would like to ask you a few things to the beloved members of the preface. (1) There are people who will never see this winter again in this world for the last time. It could be a parent, a friend, or a gift you admire. I hope you will struggle and evangelize for the soul you love. In particular, couples often live without realizing that they are precious to each other, but let's cherish each other and live loving each other before winter comes. Also, young people should be filial to their parents while they are still alive!! Opportunities don't always exist. (2) Before winter comes, let's carry out the mission entrusted to us well and stand before God without shame as a good and faithful servant! (Matt. 25:14-30) (3) Some people have this winter becoming the last winter of their life. Let's prepare for heaven and live. (2 Corinthians 5:1) A cold winter will come in our lives someday. Like the five wise virgins who prepared oil lamps, please prepare them well when you have the opportunity. The oil lamp of faith, the oil lamp of hope, the oil lamp of love, the lamp of forgiveness, the filling of the Holy Spirit.... Let's prepare well!
