Title Blessed Man-2/Psalm 1:2-3
Content 1. Blessed are those who delight in the word of the Lord.
1). Probably, there are not one or two things that make us happy today, regardless of whether we live on this earth.
Whether it's buying a house, buying a car, getting a promotion, entering a university of your choice, etc...
2). However, a truly blessed person cannot enjoy God's word more than that.
A. David expressed how much he enjoyed the word of God as sweeter than honey.
(Psalm 19:9) The way of the fear of the LORD is pure and lasts forever; the ordinances of the LORD are sure and all are just.
(Psalm 19:10) They will be desired more than gold, that is, much fine gold, and sweeter than honey and honeycomb.
Then, if this David went to war, he would have won a hundred battles.
B. When it came to the New Testament, Mary could not like the word again.
Then how much did Jesus praise him?
3).If the word of God is disliked, heard by people, and is far from it, then there is definitely a problem with his faith.
The characteristic of a blessed person is that the word cannot be so pleasant.
4) Why can the Word of God please us?
1). Because the word of God warms our hearts and increases our courage a hundredfold. (Luke 24:32)
Two disciples going down to Emmaus.
2). The word of God brings life to life. (Hebrews 4:12, Acts 2:37)
3). Faith arises. (Romans 10:17)
4). He leads the way. (Psalm 119:105)
5). The power of creation is revealed. (Genesis 1:1, John 1:1-)
2. Blessed are those who meditate on the word of the Lord day and night.
Day and night means anytime, anywhere, whatever you do.
To meditate means to think.
You have to think about the word.
That's right. Wherever we are, whatever we do, we must think of the Word and act according to the commands of the Word.
Because it is a blessing to do what I say, not according to what is good.
3. What kind of blessing do you say you will be given if you live as a blessed person?
In other words, what kind of blessings do you promise to those who do not walk in the counsel of the wicked, do not stand in the way of sinners, do not sit in the seat of the scornful, delight in the word of the Lord, and meditate day and night?
① A blessed person becomes like a tree planted by a stream.
1). The trees planted along the cinette do not have much to worry about, no matter how famine or drought comes.
If it is rooted in the cinetta, you don't have to worry about water, so there's really no reason to worry.
That's right. This worry is a very natural phenomenon that always comes when something is lacking, lacking, insufficient, or completely unprepared.
2). This is also true for our children of God today.
If we only stay in the Lord today, we really can't have any worries.
Why, because the Lord is the source of blessing. Because He Himself took away all our sins.
②In the end, such a person has no choice but to follow the times and bear fruit.
The Bible says, “I am the true vine, and my Father is the farmer. Every branch in me that does not bear fruit, the Father takes away it, and every branch that bears fruit he purifies, so that it may bear more fruit” (John 15: 1-2)
He continued, "Abide in me, and I in you; just as the branch cannot bear fruit of its own accord unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you, unless you abide in me.
I am the vine, and you are the branch. If I am in me and I in him, this man bears much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. If a man does not abide in me, he is thrown out like a branch and withers away. They will gather them and throw them into the fire to be consumed” (John 15:4-6).
“If you abide in me and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.”
That's right.
As long as we are in the Lord today, we have no worries.
No worries. Moreover, he must bear fruit.
③ Blessed is the person whose leaves do not wither.
It is a blessing that never withers, in fact, no matter how many fruits it bears, if it dries up, it cannot be eaten.
When the leaves are fresh, the fruits are also fresh.
Today we too, I pray in the name of the Lord that this never-drying blessing may fill you and me.
What should not dry out?
1) I bless you in the name of the Lord that your faith will not dry up.
2) I pray in the name of the Lord that your hope will not dry up.
3) I pray in the name of the Lord that your love will not dry up.
4) I pray in the name of the Lord that your prayers do not dry up.
5) I pray in the name of the Lord that your desire for evangelism will not dry up.
If these are dry to me right now, don't be discouraged.
There is a way to recover. The Bible says (Mark 3:3-5)
1) “Jesus said to the man with the withered hand, “Stand up in the midst of it.”
"Stand up in the middle."
That's right. Those with dry hands must get up first. Wake up comes first. You must not sit.
We must rise again with a new resolve and resolution to the word of the Lord. I should not give up saying no, nor should I procrastinate. I have to break my understanding in the past.
It has to happen while people are watching.
I have to let go of shame, let go of pride, and free myself from all the categories that bind me.
2) "...stretch out your hand." He stretched it out, and his hand was restored."
Then you must reach out and push the Lord.
All the keys are in the Lord. Only when the Lord gives us can we receive and solve it. So please give me to Jesus. That's all.
