People want to be recognized by others, and they want others to recognize them. It is this desire and instinct that makes you want to brag. However, if you brag too much or do something wrong, you won't be recognized, and on the contrary, it's easy to lose more or be hated. The Bible says that if you really want to brag, let other people's mouths boast and not your own. So, should we never brag? Is all bragging wrong? no! There is pride that God allows, and there is pride that pleases God.
Let us boast in Jesus.
Believers should boast of knowing God in Jesus. When we immediately realize who God is, know who He is, boast, and share it with others, that becomes evangelism and brings glory to God. If you believe in Jesus, receive salvation, get healed, and experience God's miracles and blessings, you have to keep boasting and preaching about it so that the Lord is happy.
Let the church be proud.
Let us be proud of our weaknesses and shortcomings.
Let's brag about the cross.
The Apostle Paul, who boasted about his weakness and lack, confesses in Galatians 6:14, “I have nothing to boast about except in the cross of Jesus Christ.” A sinner who was destroyed and lived without knowing God and not knowing Heaven and then going into eternal hellfire is blessed to be saved, to know God, to know Heaven, and to enter eternal Heaven. Therefore, believers should never have anything to boast about other than the cross.
Everyone! When I live my faith, I must not go ahead of the Lord. We must show God's grace and realize our shortcomings, our weaknesses, and our powerlessness. We believe that we should boast only about the cross, boast about knowing God, and boast about the gospel. Such pride is the blessed pride that ultimately leads to blessings.
