Title Blessing God/Genesis 24:1-9
In verse 1 of the text, there is a saying, “Abraham was old and old, and the Lord blessed him in all things.” Just as the Lord blessed Abraham in everything he did when he was young, God blessed him in everything when he grew old and became an old man. God gave Abraham both spiritual and physical blessings in his life. In the genealogy of Abraham, Jesus Christ was not only born, but He also granted material possessions, honor, health, and the blessing of children.
Abraham, the servant of God, set two important rules of life in faith and lived. First, I will never let my son marry a foreign woman. In today's terms, there was a rule of faith that would never allow unbelieving marriages to happen. The second is that I will not send my beloved son back to his homeland. These two rules of faith were set. 4,000 years ago, the land of Canaan was promiscuous. And I indulged. Even in places like Sodom, men did shameful things as men and women did shameful things as women. Homosexuality was rampant. This means that they did not want to take a daughter from among the Canaanites, whose ethics and morals had fallen to the ground. What we learn here is the iron principle of Abraham's life, who wanted to live a holy Christian life who wanted to keep clean ethics and morals.
How much has sexual morality fallen these days? It is very important to follow the faith-centered rules as thoroughly as Abraham did. Abraham had his servant Eliezer put his hand on his hip bone to bring him from his hometown to be a match for his son Isaac, whom he loved, so that he would not leave the land of Canaan or leave the promised land. In the past, in the land of Canaan, when that servant puts his hand on his master's genitals, which is the thigh bone, he swears allegiance. You can see the hardened spirit of Abraham making such a solemn oath. “Under any circumstances, under any circumstances, under any pretext, my son should not be allowed to marry in a foreign country. I must not let my son leave this Canaan.”
God's blessings do not come by chance. God blesses those who transcend situations, circumstances, and circumstances and live by holding on to the Word of God, keeping the rules of faith, and keeping the rules of faith and standards of faith. Abraham kept the norms of faith, rules of faith, and rules of faith, and God blessed him in everything he did. When Abraham grew old, he received the blessings that God poured out on him because he did not leave the rule of faith and kept the rule and lived according to the Word.
Everyone! Teach your children to follow the rules of faith. If you teach your children to live according to the Word, keep the rules of the Word, tithe according to the Word, and keep the Lord's Day according to the Word, I believe that amazing works can be accomplished in your children. Everyone! In order to receive filial piety, we need to teach our children to live centered on faith and obey the Word of God. Nagging your children a lot. Believe in Jesus, pray to God, I pray for you, and if you work hard like this, at some point in your child's life, the time will come when your child will surely live by the rules of faith according to the words of his parents. I hope you do.
There are rules in life. The rule is to live according to the Word of God. You must not deviate from the word. Therefore, Luke 11:28 says, “Blessed are those who hear the word and keep it.” Revelation 1:3 says, “Blessed are those who read and hear the words of this prophecy, and those who keep what is written in them, for the time is near.” I pray in the name of the Lord that you will believe and practice the fact that the most blessed people are those who keep the rules of the Word in the age when Jesus' second coming is near.
