Title Blessing Hero

Contents

It is the third Sunday of the new year. I pray that this year will also be a year of blessings from the Lord. Today, I would like to speak under the title of “The Hero of Blessing”.

God does not want our saints to live in poverty. God has promised us great blessings. In verse 14, He promised, “I will surely bless you and bless you and multiply you and multiply you.” Deuteronomy 28:1 says, “If you will listen carefully to the word of the LORD my God and keep and do all the commands I give you today, the LORD your God will set you above all nations.” 2 Corinthians 8:9 says that the Lord came to bless us. Therefore, believers must receive blessings from God. Then, what kind of attitude should we have to become the main character receiving God's blessings?

1. Abraham was blessed while obeying God's command.

In Genesis 12:1, “Then the LORD said to Abraham, “Leave your land, your relatives, and your father’s house, and go to the land that I will show you. “He said. At this command, Abraham believed the word and obeyed the command and received the blessing. The blessing Abraham received is said in Genesis 13:2, “It was abundant in cattle, silver, and gold.” In addition to silver and gold, he became the father of faith, the father of blessings. He did not live in moderation, but he thoroughly obeyed the Lord's commands.

Peter lowered his nets all night long to catch fish, but he did not catch a single fish. But when Jesus commanded to let down the nets on the right side, I let down my nets all night and caught nothing, but I obeyed the Lord's command to let down the nets. Peter was able to catch a huge amount of fish.

Miracles and blessings come when you obey.

2. Abraham sowed a seed to be blessed and received the blessing.

2 Corinthians 9:6-7 says that he who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. When we receive God's command and give even our body, mind, time, and material things with joy, it becomes the fruit of blessing just like planting seeds. Specifically, Abraham sowed the perfect 10:1 seed. Hebrews 7:6 says that Abraham paid a full tithe to Melchizedek. Tithing is the seed of blessing.

3. Abraham was blessed while offering his precious son Isaac.

In Genesis 22:1-2, I could not believe the word of God to offer up Isaac, but I obeyed it because it was God's command. As he was about to take Isaac to Mount Moriah and set it up to support him, the voice of God came to him. It was a voice telling him not to touch Isaac. It was Abraham who gave the most precious thing. From this point on, Abraham's path to the father of blessing and faith was opened. God gives amazing blessings when we give the most precious thing we have. But what is surprising is the fact that God requires of us the precious things we have. When God prepares to give something to the saints, you can see that he requires valuable things from us first. I pray that you will be the main character of blessing by giving many precious things this year.

4. Abraham received the blessing while his heart was faithful before the Lord.

Nehemiah 9:8 says to Abraham, “When he saw that his heart was faithful before the Lord, he made a covenant with them, and said to their descendants the land of the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Amorites, the Perizzites, the Jebusites, and the Girgastes. You have done according to your word, for you are weeping in righteousness.” It is said that the blessing promised to Abraham who was faithful was fulfilled in his descendants. If you work faithfully, you will surely grant blessings to your descendants.

In the parable of the talents, the person who received the five or two talents traded hard and left it as a loss. Seeing this, he praised, “Well done, good and faithful servant.” You will receive not only praise but also additional blessings from those who are faithful.

Dear saints, This year, I pray that you will not be deprived of any of God's promised blessings, but that you will become a saint who receives and enjoys all of God's blessings.

Please obey. I hope you plant a lot of seeds. I hope you give me something valuable. I hope you will become a faithful worker. You can surely become the main character of blessing. I pray that this week will be filled with vitality and blessings with the power of the Holy Spirit.
