Meditation: God is deliberate and thorough. First, he teaches us how to do it and gives us amazing blessings. Those who thoroughly obey God's requirements are those who succeed in faith.
Confession of Faith: Apostles' Creed
Text: “Blessed is everyone who fears the Lord and walks in his ways; you will eat the work of your hands, and you will be blessed and prosper” (Psalm 128:1-2).
When God tries to give us good things and needs, He doesn't just give them. There are things that God requires of us in order to receive what He gives us. It is an expression of thorough love for God and obedience. Many people of faith were used through training to fear God. There are many people such as Joseph, who looked at the dream God gave him in the face of the unstoppable tribulation of life, Daniel who decided not to bow down before idols and prayed, and David who recognized God as his shepherd and trusted for guidance .
Then what is 'fearing God'? It is 'serving with fear and trembling'. No matter how much God gives me a word that goes against my will, my common sense, and my morals, obeying with 'yes' is the faith that fears God. In the text, what does it mean when you say, 'I will eat according to the toilet of my hands'?
First, it is the blessing of health. Life is a series of toilets, and you have to live by toileting with your hands. So you have to be healthy. Also, if your faith is sick, everything will go awry. Good soul and strong body, health is a great blessing from God.
Second, it is the blessing of taking responsibility for your life. For the hand to labor, there must be work. No matter how healthy you are, if you don't have a job, you can't help but fly. To those who fear God, like a tree planted by the water, he gives a wonderful blessing that leaves green and never ceases to bear fruit even in times of drought.
Third, it is the blessing of protecting and protecting. There is a saying that goes forward and goes backwards. Such is the case in a life that God protects and does not protect. God protects and protects those who fear Him.
Prayer: Give us the faith to fear God. Please help me to live with only God exalted so that I can enjoy the blessings that God has given me to my heart's content. I pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
