Title Children's Sunday Sermons Part 1 and Part 2
Acts 13:21-23 Title: David, a man after God's own heart
Today is Children's Day. I am trying to receive grace by introducing David to the children and young people who are growing up with the love of the Lord, who especially loved children.
1. David is a man who was appointed to fulfill God's will.
We must have a dream. You must also be a person who works hard to achieve that dream. Only they can succeed in the world. Then, what kind of dream should we have? It is a dream of fulfilling God's will. David was created to do God's will, and Jesus came as his descendant to accomplish the great will of saving mankind.
I ask that we too grow up with a big dream of fulfilling God's will no matter what we do.
2. David was a man after God's heart.
God does not exalt anyone. God honors and writes people who are after God's heart. We must live in harmony with God's heart from an early age. A good child tries to please his mother. If you do that, your grades will rise and your character will improve. If people try to live in harmony with God's heart, they will all become good people. We hope that we will strive to become people after God's heart like David from a young age.
As long as we please God, we can receive God's blessing and become a person of great success.
3. The reason why David liked God is as follows.
① I lived first with God. From a young age, I believed in God well, and I valued God the most. I couldn't even see God's name being insulted. Also, there was nothing wasted for God. That is why God loved David so much.
② I respected and obeyed my parents. He has been a shepherd since childhood. I raised my parents' sheep. At the command of my father, I went to the battlefield to greet my brothers. From a young age, he never disobeyed his parents. He also devotedly cared for his parents and family even though his own life was threatened and chased. God was very pleased with this incident and blessed David.
③David did his work faithfully. As a shepherd, he risked his life to protect his sheep. She took care of the sheep day and night. Based on his own experience, he wrote the famous poem that I lack nothing because the Lord is my shepherd (Psalm 23). When I became a servant of the king, I was loyal to the king as a servant, and when I became a king, I was faithful for God and the people. God is pleased with faithful people and uses them preciously.
④ David devoted himself to singing and praying. His psalms are both hymns and prayers, prayers and hymns at the same time. God loves people who pray. You like people of praise.
Like David, let us live God first. Let's be respectful and obedient to our parents. Let us do what we do with sincerity. Let's keep singing and praying without ceasing. If we live in this way, He will accept us and use Him highly to accomplish God's great will. May this blessing be upon our children and youth.

Ephesians 6:4 Title: Raising Children of Saints
Today is Children's Day. I pray that God's grace may overflow on all the children and youth of the church, including our children whom God has given us as a reward, and also on all children and youth on this earth. Today, we are going to receive grace by looking at what the Bible teaches about raising children.
1. You must raise your children with love.
You may ask, who would hate their children, but some parents do not truly love their children. Today we want you to reflect deeply on how much we loved our children. There are many characters in the Bible who loved their children. Among them, David is not to be missed. I can't tell you how sad I was to learn that he was killed in the war, even though it was his son Absalom who opposed his father and usurped the throne. 2 Samuel 18:33 says, “The king was very sick, and went up to the gatehouse and wept. As he went up, he said, “My son Absalom, my son, my son Absalom, if I had died for you, Absalom, my son, my son.” In the parable of the prodigal son, we can find the father's extreme love. May we all love our children like this. I hope they will become parents who give love to the end no matter how upset they are.
2. You must raise your children with discipline.
Blind love is not true love. If you ignore it when you make a mistake, you will rather make your child unhappy. Eli did not strictly forbid his sons when they made a mistake (1 Samuel 3:13). In the end, the whole house was destroyed. Proverbs 13:24 says, “He who does not have the time to reach out hates his child, but he who loves him disciplines him diligently.” Hebrews 12:7-8 says that without discipline, you are not a true son. In Proverbs 29:15, it is said that a whip and rebuke give wisdom, and in Proverbs 22:15, the whip of discipline drives away foolishness. We will have to raise our children with the rods of love.
3. We must raise our children in sanctification.
Everyone will sin. You cannot go to heaven because of sin, but because you do not repent or sanctify. Just as we strive for our own sanctification, we must also strive for the sanctification of our children. For the sake of sanctification of our children every day, we must not only teach them but also lead a life of repentance together. In this regard, Job is exemplary. Job 1:5 says, “After the day of the feast, Job called them and sanctified them. You don't know how beautiful it looks. If we, too, strive like this for the holiness of our children, all of us will become vessels that God will use preciously. Because God uses clean vessels. (2 Timothy 2:21)
4. We must raise our children through prayer.
There is no parent who does not pray for their children. There are many records of parents who prayed for their children in the Bible. Hannah's prayer for Samuel is so famous. I was born through prayer and raised through prayer. Sponsored by prayer. Samuel even confesses that he will not commit the sin of not praying because he grew up with his mother's prayers. He also became a man of great prayer. In Mark 5, there is a record of Jairus, the ruler of the synagogue, coming to Jesus to pray to save his daughter. In John 4, the contents of the king's servant's plea to save his son is recorded. It is a parent's duty to pray for their children. In particular, I hope that they will become saints who pray ceaselessly for their souls to be strong. Augustine was converted and became a great figure in Christian history thanks to the prayers of her mother Monica. Hearing Ambrus' words of encouragement that “the children of prayer never perish,” he prayed with tears for his prodigal son, and finally repented and returned to become a faithful servant of God. Let's become saints who raise children through prayer.
5. Let us bring up in the discipline and admonition of the Lord.
No ethics or morals in the world can make you a good person. The Bible only commands us to “nurture them in the discipline and admonition of the Lord.” It means nurture with the word of God. The word of the Lord is like a light in the course of life. “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path,” he said. (Psalm 119:103) Those who live by the Word will never stumble. Psalm 119:9 says, “With what can a young man cleanse his conduct? He will take heed from your word.” God has told us: “These words that I am commanding you today shall be kept in your heart, and you will teach them diligently to your children, and you will preach these words when you sit in your house and on the road, when you lie down and when you get up” (Deuteronomy 6:6-7). did it. The Word is the only rule of faith and duty. If you live according to the word, you will be blessed. Saints should raise their children according to the laws of the Bible, not the worldly methods. We wish all of our children good health and blessings both physically and mentally.
