Title [Christmas] Unbreakable love (Romans 8:31-39)
Contents
greetings + Benedictions! / Merry Christmas, I hope you have a good day.
<Merry Christmas, I am sure you will win.>
However, when I carefully read the 2005 Christmas card sent through the Apostle Paul, it explains the specific details of God's unbreakable love in four ways. What these confessions have in common is that they all start with a question. First, let's check the contents of the question as follows.
1) Verse 31, <Who will be against us!>
2) Verse 33, <Who will sue us?>
3) Verse 34, <Who will condemn us!>
4) Verse 35, <Who will cut us off!>
It is an ironic expression of the declaration that no one can stand against us, no one can sue us, no one can condemn us, no one can separate us. He then draws a general conclusion to these questions as follows. 8:39, <No other creature will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord!> Amen!
1. Who will be against you?!
Satan is the first to honor the saints directly. They fight directly against the saints and try to win. However, none of the attacks are successful. / 8:31 / (Read) / There is a decisive reason why Satan's forces cannot stand against us. It is because God is for us. Because God is on our side. God loves us.
However, our human heart is crafty, and we want to confirm love by all means. That is why our Apostle Paul, God's love, even confirms in detail what kind of love it is. / 8:32 / (Read) / What kind of love is God's love that guarantees us ultimate victory? It is a love that is not wasted at all, that is, a love that gives up even one's own son.
Because there is a God who is always on our side with this kind of love, who is it that can be against us? No matter what crowds attack, we are God's children who are destined to overcome everything. That's right. No one can be against us. Amen!
2. Who will sue?!
In front of us, we knew that no one could be against us. Still, Satan does not give up. I am not confident that I will win by fighting myself, but I am still trying to attack the saints and make them stumble. So this time, instead of fighting directly, I choose the method of litigation.
But there's no point in complaining. That no litigation works. Any accusation or accusation will be dismissed. Why? Verse 33, because God has chosen us and has already declared us righteous.
That's right. We are God's children whose sins have already been forgiven, and we are God's people who have been justified by faith. There is a God who has chosen and justified me, so no one can accuse us. No one can sue us.
3. Who will condemn?!
The next step in the attack that Satan, who has failed in the case, takes, is to condemn it altogether. They keep saying they are sinners to innocent believers. <You are a sinner!> By the way, those who have weak faith will fall under Satan's attacks. You suffer from the guilt of performing, and you move away from victory.
No, no one but God can condemn us. Why? Because Christ, who died on the cross to redeem me from my sins, rose from the dead and ascended into heaven, and is still interceding for me at the right hand of God. Therefore, as long as we abide in Christ, as long as Christ is in me, no one can condemn us for being. Well, no one can condemn us.
4. Who will quit?
What we believers must remember is that Satan's attacks are very persistent. If you have been defeated while fighting, failed in accusation, and lost in condemnation, it is enough to give up, but Satan does not give up and makes the final attack. At the beat of the shot, the evil villain, that is, all the evil weapons that he had hoarded, are taken out for the last time, but this time, they are trying to cut off our love altogether.
There are several weapons Satan uses at this time, such as verse 35, <tribulation, distress, persecution, famine, nakedness, threats, swords>. But this time around, it's no big deal. Verse 37, “But in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us!”
So, the words of the Apostle Paul confidently, the first sentence of verse 38, <I am sure>, the last of verse 39, <will not be cut off!> Yes, our love is unbreakable. The best confession to you on Christmas!
<I love you with unbreakable love!>
There is one thing to remember. In the middle of verse 39, mark <us>, and at the end of verse 39, mark <unable to be separated!>, and if you read and paste it, it means <you cannot separate us!>. What does it mean? It is clear who Satan is trying to cut off, and that is <us>. Satan does not attack God. attack us. It is trying to separate us from the love of God. So we have to be careful.
But don't worry. Because Jesus Christ came again today to neutralize all Satan's attacks and to love us to the end. The Lord's love for us is an unstoppable love. We enjoy this love, and we want to love each other with unbreakable love. I also love you all with unbreakable love. Merry Christmas!
