Title Clearly Develops / 1 Timothy 4:11-16
The text is a letter from the Apostle Paul admonishing Timothy, "You were weak until now, but now you should improve and become a respected leader rather than cause others to worry and worry. Timothy was originally shy and anxious and fearful, so it seems that he was passive rather than boldly moving forward, developing, and achieving. So Paul asked the Corinthians, "When Timothy comes, take heed, that he may be among you without fear" (1 Corinthians 16:10). Timothy is a kind-hearted person who is easily hurt, discouraged, nervous, and anxious when someone makes a mistake. is.
First, good wording. I hope your speech will improve this year. Language is an expression of character, so no man or woman, or anyone who speaks harsh language, is respected. You should always work hard to learn and write good and beautiful words, words that give encouragement and hope. If your child is causing some problems, say, "Your buds are yellow. So what will you do with it?" Do not. I am a child of God whom God has entrusted to me to take care of and raise for 20 years. Don't bully, darken, sadden, or anger by recklessly saying you're young. Conversely, the phrase “pay a thousand nyang debt with a single word” is also a saying that can inflict incurable wounds with a single word. Wounds cut with a knife heal in a month or two, but wounds made with words do not heal well. So please keep your language beautiful and clean. Sometimes it doesn't work well with human will. It comes out of its own accord because I lived in a bad language. We should pray, “God, clean my mouth this year.”
Second, good conduct. I hope your worship life gets better. Last week, there were not enough seats, so I put a chair in the lobby, and a few people just left because I was angry that I had to worship outside. So today I put a TV and a chair in the middle of the lobby. When a family arrives just in time for worship, they can't sit side by side. If you arrive 30 minutes early, parking is easy, parents and children can sit together, and you can prepare for worship in peace while listening to Olgen's performance. We lock the door when worship begins, but what if you are 5 minutes late and the Lord has already taken them all away? Our church basement parking lot can accommodate 1200 cars, but on a Sunday morning that's not enough, so we have to park up to the three-way intersection down there. 70 cars can be parked on top of the building, so if you arrive early and park there, you are considerate of others. Seeking the good of others is a characteristic of those who believe in Jesus. We want to be better than last year in this area as well.
If you just want to develop and grow, you can take advantage of our church's many training programs. Isn't the program created by our church used all over the country? In the case of Pyeongmokwon, 27,000 people have studied at 2,500 churches across the country over the past 11 years. In our church, three types of deacons and five types of elders and clerics are required to be qualified. All tenures must receive at least one training per year. Through Pyeongmokwon, Bible College, Counseling Academy, Evangelism Explosion, Prayer School, Mission School, Teacher School, etc., I hope this year will be better than last year.
Husbands who have given their wives the privilege of cleaning the house entirely, I hope this year, take away the privilege at least once a week. Before I went to America, I stayed with my in-laws for a while, and even my son-in-law couldn't just eat it, so one day when I was going into the kitchen to find a broom to sweep the yard, my mother-in-law said, "Do you know where this place is?" He pulled out a broomstick. The old kitchen was inconvenient for men to come and go, but how good is a fortress apartment? It has been a good world. This year, why not wash the dishes at least once a week, or a month, so that your wife can feel "my husband cares about me"? And ask your wife for a special date. The same goes for children. At first, I took them all with my three daughters to be fair. Then I realized that each of us needed a special experience with me, so I asked each of them out on a date. It was just the two of us going on a date with the oldest this Saturday, the second with the next Saturday, and the third with the following Saturday. I hope that Hallelujah members will be busy this year with 1:1 dates with their wives, husbands, and children.
Third, love. After all, family love comes first. Love that is not expressed cannot be known at all. A woman wants to hear from her husband that she loves her, so she says, "Honey, do you still love me?" When I asked, he said, "When we got married 15 years ago, you said you loved me. If you changed your mind, I already told you." Love is better the more you express it. I hope that love develops so that we can feel, see, and hear each other's love among family members, neighbors, and members of the congregation.
Fourth, faith. Faith is living believing that the God who created the universe is the God of Immanuel, who loves and is with us forever. Because God is on my side, it is an attitude of living positively and confidently. Hope your faith gets better. “If God is for us, who can be against us?” (Romans 8:31). Please express your faith often, even with a single word. Those who have faith and those who don't have different ways of expressing themselves. "It will be. There must be a way. God will lead. He will take care of it." You should say, "With what money will you complete the construction of the parish?" should i do it? The God of Ebenezer, who has led us this far, will provide. Believe it until it doesn't work, say so, and live happily and hopefully. If it doesn't work, "God must have a different way. If it doesn't work this time, it will be next time. God is on my side, so what should I be afraid of? Just pray, wait a little, it will get better."
I hope that there will be development in family worship this year. For those of us who have never led a family worship service, let's start this year. It is very easy to lead worship because there is "Today's bread". Open "Today's Food" and a family member with the gift of praise begins to sing the hymn presented there, asks the older child to read the Bible text, and the second child to preach, the child just reads it. And if you do not know how to pray, you can pray to your wife and finish with the Lord's Prayer.
Fifth, purity. This means clean. Your mindset, language, and attitude are so transparent that others don't feel threatened. If you have anxiety, envy, jealousy, greed, lust, strife, or conflict in your heart, ask God for forgiveness. The more you repent, the cleaner you become. Jesus said, "Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God" (Matthew 5:8).
This year, I hope to get closer to God. If you think you are far from God, your heart is filled with worries, worries, and garbage. Take one out each day and leave it to God.
