Title: Paul's Prayer
Paul offered a prayer to thank God for the faith, love, and hope of the Colossian church members. Following is the text of the prayer for the members of the Colossae Church. “Therefore we also, from the day we heard of it, have not ceased to pray for you, we pray for you” (9). Not only are they thankful, but it means that they have not stopped praying for their spiritual maturity. In fact, there is no end to spiritual growth. Therefore, we should strive to reach a more mature position and always pray for this. Now, I would like to introduce some of Paul's prayers mentioned in the text to receive grace.
1. We prayed that God, especially God, would make us known (9,10).
2. I prayed that He would make me a person who pleases God in all things.
Verse 10 says, “Walk worthy of the Lord, pleasing him in all things.” Saints must please God the Father. Even a little bit of attention to this would make a lot of difference in our lives.
3. He prayed that he would become a powerful saint (11).
