Title Come, Behold, Come
Description: The Samaritan woman said to the people, “Come and see.” “Come and see a man who told me all that I have done, is this not the Christ?” (verse 29).
?? come and look
“Let us look to Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith...” (Hebrews 12:2) He is a teacher and textbook we can look to. If we look to Him, we can cast off the sins that easily entangle us. No matter how hard and difficult it may be, you will be able to persevere. Looking at Him who endured even the death of the cross, we can endure sorrow and pain.
The Israelites complained on their way through the wilderness to the land of Canaan. The Lord caused a fiery serpent to bite the people, and many died. Moses prayed, and God made a bronze serpent and put it on a pole so that everyone bitten by the serpent should look at the serpent, and then he would live (Numbers 21:4-9). Those who looked at the bronze serpent lived. Look to Jesus and you will be healed. The power of darkness is withdrawn and the power of death that leads to death departs. Look to Jesus, who is the light in despair! The darkness of despair fades away. “But those who wait for the Lord will find new strength, and they will soar up on wings like eagles” (Isaiah 40:31).
?? come and listen
Jesus is the one who hears and speaks useful words. He gives words that make the unsuccessful people successful and unhappy people happy when they hear it. Listening is important. You have to listen to believe it. “How shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard, and how shall they hear without a preacher? Therefore, faith comes by hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ” (Romans 10:14,17). If you hear from Jesus, you can believe in Him.
When the Samaritans heard the woman's words, "Come and see," they went and listened. People came out of the town and came to Jesus, and after hearing the word, they said, "Now we do not believe because of your word, because we have heard it ourselves and know that he is truly the Savior of the world" (John 4:29).
If you listen to the word of God, you will come to life. “Truly, truly, I say to you, the hour is coming, and now is, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear will live” (John 5:25). Not physically dead, but spiritually dead. I hope you will come, hear, be healed, come to life, and grow in faith.
?? come and touch
There was a woman who had been bleeding for 12 years. I went to many clinics and received treatment, but I wasted my wealth and had no effect, and it got worse. One day I heard a rumor about Jesus. They squeezed in and touched Jesus' clothes. The moment he touched the hem of Jesus' robe, the blood stopped flowing. Then Jesus asked, “Who touched my clothes?” (Easy Bible, Mark 5:30). Because Jesus felt power go out from Him. “Daughter, your faith has saved you; go in peace and be healed of your illness.” Contact with Jesus is important.
I was healed just by looking at it, but I came to life just by hearing it, but when I touch it, I can draw power into me. Even the deepest problems are solved. May the power of the Lord come into you, stop the bleeding of life, and receive the grace to live vigorously.
All we have to do is say, “Come and see! com and see”. It is evangelism. Come and see! Come and have a look! Come and listen! Come and touch it!
