Title Complaints as Thanks

Psalm 53:23 Complaints with thanksgiving

Today is a day to be especially grateful. Because today is Thanksgiving, which happens once a year. If you are not giving thanks properly and complaining about Thanksgiving today, you would be truly unhappy. I don't know about other days, but on Thanksgiving, I pray that you will stand in a position to glorify God as we offer a sacrifice of thanks along with a confession of thanks to God.

The Bible makes it clear. “He who offers sacrifices of thanksgiving glorifies me, and to those who do their works right, I will show the salvation of God” (Psalm 50:23). that you receive And when we give thanks, God grants the promised blessings for us and performs the prepared miracles.

When the Israelites who escaped from slavery in Egypt and went to the land of Canaan complained and complained, a viper came out and bit them, and a fire broke out and consumed the camp of Israel, eventually destroying a generation in the wilderness. However, when they regained their gratitude to God, God was with them and they were eventually able to enter the promised land of blessing, Canaan.

In other words, complaining is an invitation to attract the devil, and gratitude is an invitation to inviting God. Just as flies and maggots are infested when it smells foul and rancid, while butterflies and bees gather when it smells fragrant, the devil comes in with the smell of complaints, and God comes in with the scent of thanksgiving.

Therefore, those who live by constantly feeling God’s presence, God’s help, God’s power, and God’s love are full of gratitude, and those who live deceived by the devil, live oppressed by the devil, and live while being used by the devil complain. person. To put it more directly, those who give thanks are the people of God, and those who complain are the people of the devil. Wherever there are grateful people, the mood is good, and where there are complainers, of course, the mood is bad.

A good church is a church that has many grateful members, a good family is a family that has many grateful members, and a good country is a country that has many grateful people. On the other hand, if there are many complaining members, it is a bad church, if there are many complaining members, it is a bad family, and if there are many complaining people, it becomes a bad country.

Why are so many people complaining even though they clearly know that gratitude is better than complaining? According to 2 Timothy 3:2, one of the characteristics of the last days is that people are not thankful. In other words, at the end of the day, the plague of complaints will spread so violently that without knowing it, you will catch the plague and cough of complaints. And when these complaints stop becoming a habit, and the complaints take root in the personality, the person becomes an unhappy person and drives others into unhappiness.

So, how can we shake off our complaints and confess our gratitude? Of course, we must receive the filling of the Holy Spirit, pray daily, and meditate on the Word. However, today, as I introduce some examples of turning complaints into gratitude, I hope that it will be a time to change even the subject of today's complaints that you and I are experiencing with gratitude.

Once upon a time there was a Persian poet named Sania. But he was famous as a poet who always gave thanks to God. But one day, when I couldn't buy shoes because I didn't have money, I started walking barefoot. "Why can't I even wear shoes because I grew up with poor parents?"

As he was walking while complaining, he looked up and saw a handicapped man without legs. For a moment, he said thank you. "Thank you, God. Compared to that person without legs, I am very happy to be able to walk on two feet without shoes!"

In other words, you can change the condition of complaining to the condition of gratitude by looking at someone who is in a worse situation than you. For example, a person who has $1,000 in a bank account can thank people who do not have even $1 in a bank account, a person with a small disease can appreciate a person with a major illness, and a person who complains because he has only one child A person can be thankful when he sees a person who has no children, a person who has no children can think and be thankful that childless is the best, and a person living in Canada can be thankful for seeing a person living in Africa.

Everyone, are you complaining about missing something today? Look at someone who is less than you and give thanks. Are you complaining about something bad? See someone worse than you and give thanks. Find the conditions of gratitude even in difficult and difficult situations. Obviously, you have a lot to be thankful for. I wish you a blessed Thanksgiving when you confess the conditions of thanks to the Lord.

An old woman had a husband. But the husband had been drinking late every night and coming in to get drunk. One day, the wife sat next to her husband who was drunk and fell asleep and said, "Oh, my darling!" I thought about it, and suddenly I remembered the sermon that God hears only when we pray with thanksgiving. So I prayed to God like this. "God, I have nothing to be thankful for, but I am thankful anyway."

Then, as the Holy Spirit worked fervently, I remembered my heart to be thankful in detail. “Aren’t I still better than a widow? I have a husband who is drunk and quarreling like that, so thieves don’t come in. If I was alone without a husband like this, how frightening would I be at night?”

As I was praying like this to God, my husband woke up with a thirst in his throat. But what's with the smile on the woman's face, who should be crying with an impression? My husband was puzzled and asked the reason, and the wife told me specifically what she was grateful for and what she was grateful for. Then my husband smiled and said, "I'll go to church tomorrow too!"

In other words, a grateful wife and a grateful husband receive love, a grateful child makes their parents happy, a grateful person is good at evangelism, and a grateful person eventually becomes a precious worker who takes care of the kingdom of heaven. Guys, keep that in mind. The kingdom of heaven is cultivated through those who are grateful, not through those who complain.

A saint in the United States was going by bus, and the bus was full and started to get cramped. Then a black woman got on the bus with five children. Then he came over and pushed him away. The children were talking, smelling, and the shouting of a black mother bothered the saint next to him so much.

I was so angry at this saint's heart that I couldn't bear it, so he was on the verge of an explosion, and suddenly a question came to his mind. "Aren't we supposed to be thankful even in times like this? Yes, that's right!" After thinking like this for a while, he said that he thanked him. "God, thank you that this woman is not my wife!"

Ladies and gentlemen, there are many times when a married couple doesn't appreciate each other very much. It's natural to cook, it's natural to clean, and it's also natural to make money... In my case, I do the dishes frequently these days, so at first my housemate said, "Thank you!" He said thank you very much, and these days he just said, "You did a great job!" do it
