Title Daniel's holy habits (Daniel 6:10)

* Daniel's Holy Habit
* Daniel 6:10
Daniel was thorough in managing his health, personality, and faith no matter the circumstances. Especially, since the fear of the Lord is the foundation of everything, managing your own faith is of the utmost importance (2 Corinthians 13:5 “Examine yourselves, whether you are in the faith, and prove yourselves, that you may know that Jesus Christ is in you. Do you not know it yourself, otherwise you have rejected it”).
Because the only way to overcome temptation, tribulation, and death is through faith.
Daniel, a man of God, who excelled in wisdom, power, and personality, suffered various hardships due to envy, jealousy, and insults from those around him, but his faith in God did not weaken or disappear. .
He was thrown into the lions' den, but did not die. Rather, the entire family of the conspirators were thrown into the lions' den and killed.
Sometimes excellence brings more trials and tribulations. Therefore, when faced with many difficulties and crises, you must have stronger faith and believe in God's great and wonderful will and plan for you and the special excellence that God has given you.
Above all, the evidence of Daniel's outstanding faith was his holy habit, which he continued to practice even in ever changing circumstances.
1 “When Daniel knew that this decree had been signed, he went back to his house, and looked at the open window in his room toward Jerusalem, as he had done before” (a holy habit of a lifetime):
Daniel had the habit of faith he had before. Human beings live by habits acquired through continuous and repetitive actions. Aristotle said that habit is second nature and is the destiny of one's life.
When a habit is expanded collectively (socially) and nationally (nationally), it becomes custom and culture.
There are bad habits and customs that ruin people's lives and people, and there are good habits that save individuals and nations. Changes in life and society are changes in habits and practices. Religion is the most influential factor that dominates individual habits, social customs, and national culture.
Religion even creates the misfortune of twisting custom into doctrine. The cultural practice of puasara for improving the constitution of desert regions in the Middle East has become one of the five most important tenets of Islam (The Only Allah, the Prophet Muhammad, Ramadan (fasting and almsgiving), prayer five times a day, Hajj: pilgrimage) .
We must seek truth, not doctrine. You must have a holy habit based on true truth.
Sacred habits such as patience, gentleness, humility, forgiveness, and love must also be trained.
In times of distress, holy habits must be manifested. Daniel's spiritual habits (as he had done before) were the laws of the absolute emperor of the empire (his decree)
more powerful than that).
2. “Kneel and pray three times a day” (always a habit of praying and singing regularly):
Even though Daniel knew that if he prayed, he would be thrown into the lions' den and suffered a miserable death, he did not waver and did not give up the habit of prayer.
Daniel's habit of prayer (praise) was learned from a young age as a descendant of David, the king of faith, before he was taken captive to the Babylonian Empire.
This is because the spiritually holy habit of prayer has the powerful power to save even the death of an individual and even the destruction of a nation.
Although Daniel was the prime minister of the empire, he had a habit of praying three times a day at an open window toward Jerusalem for the restoration and reconstruction of his country.
The root of the three prayers was King David's evening, noon (afternoon) and dawn (morning) prayers (Psalm 55:17).
But none of these three times should be a doctrine. Islam has become the doctrine of five prayers a day.
The Apostle Paul revealed, “Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in everything” (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18). It is important to remember, pray, and praise God in the field of life anytime, anywhere.
3. “He gave thanks to God” (a habit of thanksgiving):
The content of Daniel's prayer was thanksgiving. Gratitude and joy in all circumstances and conditions are the most concrete first evidence and fruit of faith, and it is the mystery and power of faith.
You should be able to be truly happy and grateful for just one meal of rice. Faith makes us thankful even in the face of tribulation and death, and even because of Satan. Because of God's grace and power to work all things together for good, Satan's work will eventually bring good results for the saints.
* Summary: No matter what happens in our lives, once we pray with faith, practice holy habits, and give thanks and rejoice unconditionally, we must live.
