Title Daniel 12:1~4 (2011.2.12)

Contents

Title: The Salvation of God's People

Text: (Daniel 12:1~4)

Hymns: 285. The day the word of the Lord was received

Date: February 12, 2011 (Sat) 5:00 am

Venue: Jeonju Yebut Church Small Worship Room

Belief in the existence of the last days of the world is called eschatological faith. In that last day, Jesus Christ will come to judge all history and people. At that time, those who believe in the Lord will receive salvation and reward, and those who do not will face eternal death and judgment.

1. Unprecedented tribulation (verse 1)

This chapter summarizes the vision of Daniel and is an interpretation of the end times in chapter 11. In the “time of the end,” the greatest tribulation in history will take place. At this time, God sends an angel of heaven with the archangel Michael in front to defeat the enemy and protect and save God's people. Even in the end times, God will send Jesus Christ, the judge and Savior, into the world to save His children from the sinful world.

Therefore, the saints should not be discouraged or discouraged by the present life of trials, tribulations, and hardships. Rather, you must keep your heart and faith. I hope that you will become saints who live by faith in Jesus Christ, who saved us and gave us eternal life in the last days.

2. Eternal life and shame (verse 3)

After the tribulation, the previously dead will be resurrected. On that day some will have eternal life and some will be put to eternal shame. Everyone has eternal life. However, there will be a difference between living eternally in salvation with the Lord, or living in shame and insult. God has promised eternal life to the saints. And the dedicated ones who have led many people on the path of salvation will shine forever like the sun and stars in the kingdom of God. There is no greater blessing and promise than this.

In this way, God's mission to the saints is to lead lost souls to God. First of all, we, who have become believers, pray that we may receive God's blessing and reward by doing our duty faithfully.

3. Keep it secret (v. 4)

The angel commands us to seal the words up to this point in secret. Keeping it and sealing it doesn't mean keeping it a secret, it means keeping it thoroughly and carefully so that the Word does not mix with even a small error or corruption. Even now, people make various efforts to know what will happen in the future. But their labor is in vain. You cannot know the future without going through the Word of God. We must strive to keep the Word of God from being undermined. In the last days when the true Word is hidden, God is pleased with those who fully keep the Word. Please try not to be deceived by the knowledge of the world and the words of people. Only when we purely keep the word and preach the gospel, the kingdom of God will come. Look forward to the praise the saints will receive that day.

The end of the world will be brutal warfare, terrible tribulation and judgment. Also, salvation, the heavenly feast, and the resurrection will appear at the same time. The last days will be tragic for the unbelievers, but the happiest and happiest day for those who believe. We hope that all of us will attend the heavenly feast.

<Prayer>

1. May we live in hope for the kingdom of God every day!

2. Let the history of restoration take place through the 2011 New Spring Word Festival!
