Daniel is giving his final exhortation at the moment when the curtain is to be drawn. This final exhortation is not only the conclusion to the vision that began in chapter 10, but also the conclusion of the entire book of Daniel. What conclusion does the book of Daniel give to us living in the present? It is 'waiting'.

1. The end of the world (verse 5)

In Daniel's vision, two men (angels) appear and ask the man standing in linen on the river until when the end of this article will be. What does the appearance of the two angels mean? According to the Old Testament law, two witnesses were needed to prove the truth. The reason these two appeared is to prove that Daniel's vision is true. It is an unchangeable fact that the world has an end. God has constantly communicated His will through His Word. But the proud world and people did not hear or believe the word of God. However, believers who are separated from the world must believe in the Word of God. No one knows when the last day will be, but when the time and deadlines are fulfilled, the end will surely come.

2. The attitude toward the last days (verse 9)

He swore an end to the angel in linen. He says that time is after "a time, two and a half times." This period is not a number three-and-a-half years, but semantically after a certain period of time. It is said that the time of the end will come after a certain period of tribulation and persecution. Daniel was so startled and confused that he asked again when this was. Then the angel said, “Go, Daniel.” This means that just because the end is coming, do not cling to the end. It is not the will of God to be so caught up in the end times and to miss the work given to me now. Today, given to me, should be cherished as if it were the last day of this world. We must live faithfully in order to fulfill the mission entrusted to us without wasting the precious time God has given us.

3. The reward to be enjoyed in the last days (verse 13)

God commands Daniel to wait for the last days and tells him to rest in peace. God commands Daniel to be at peace after seeing many visions. And at the end of the day, he promises to enjoy the ‘reward’. God rewards each person according to the measure of their faith. Its size and shape may be different, but nothing is less important or more important before God. It just matters how you fulfill the mission entrusted to you. When we fully fulfill the mission God has given us, we can receive the “reward” that He gives us on the last day. Let us become saints who remember that only obedience is permitted to those who believe.

Humans cannot know God's plans and thoughts. With our knowledge, we cannot know the time of salvation and judgment, nor can we predict the end of the world. History is moving according to God's timetable. Believers must live a life that overcomes all things through prayer and perseverance according to God's providence.

<Prayer>

2. Let the history of restoration take place through the 2011 New Spring Word Festival!

3. Heal the weak!
