People hesitate before making important decisions. Because momentary choices determine a lot. This is because humans are more aware of their limitations than anyone else, and it is because of their fear of responsibility. But saints are different from people of the world. All our choices and decisions are safe when made in Christ.

1. Those who interpret dreams

In the Near East Chiba, including Judea, dreams were very important. Those who interpret dreams received great respect. Even in the Bible, God used dreams as a means of revealing His will. In the text, Nebuchadnezzar had a dream and his heart was troubled and he could not sleep. So he called the applause, the sorcerer, the fortune teller, and the Chaldean sorcerer, and ordered him to interpret the dream. They were priests of idols, magicians, and men full of worldly knowledge. Will they be able to interpret God-given dreams? Even now, people dream and use various methods to understand their meaning. It is God who speaks to us through dreams. Only God can fully explain it. No matter how advanced the world's knowledge and technology may be, they will never inform our future.

2. Under the Light of God

Nebuchadnezzar wanted a wise man who could interpret. But the Babylonians and the magicians were unsuccessful. This provides the setting for Daniel to appear and reveal God's revelation. We need to be simple before God. The principle of life for success when faced with any situation is to lay down your own interests and have a heart to discern what is the perfect will of God that is good and pleasing. Then God reveals to us the most secret things. God is merciful and full of grace, so He is never stingy with us. It requires an attitude to open one's heart to God so that the light of God captivates us at every moment.

3. God's Secret

The applause, the sorcerer, the fortune teller, and the Chaldean magician could not foresee the future with worldly knowledge, wisdom, and insight. The king demanded deeper spiritual insight from the wise men, but they could not satisfy the king. The king was angry and decided to kill them. The Bible says, “The mystery of God is Christ.” In Christ are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. This mystery is Christ in us, who is the hope of glory (Colossians 1:27). The true secret cannot be known with the wisdom and knowledge of the world. Only when we receive Jesus Christ can we know the true secret. God wants us to show how the glory of this mystery abounds among the Gentiles.

God has rescued us from darkness and has called us to be stewards of His secrets. When we live fulfilling the mission God has given us, we will overflow with gratitude and joy. May we become faithful stewards of how rich Christ, the mystery of God, is in our homes and fields of life this year.
