Title: Eternal Kingdom of God

Text: (Daniel 7:9~14)

Hymn: Chan 348. will fight the demons

Date: January 27th, 2011 (Thursday) 5:00 am

Venue: Jeonju Yebut Church Small Worship Room

After the vision of the four beasts appeared, another vision appeared. This vision was about the heavenly throne and the Son of Man. This reveals that God's judgment on the proud beasts of the previous vision is “obviously” and “soon”. How will they be judged?

1. Visions of the Ancients (verse 9)

First of all, among the thrones in heaven was seated God, who existed from eternity. God's garments were dazzling white, and fire flowed down like a river from his throne, and numerous angels were ministering to him, and the books of judgment were open. Daniel had seen in a vision the scene where God, seated on the throne, began to judge. God is eternally supreme. Also, he is empty like a dazzling light, so he cannot tolerate sin. God will judge all iniquity with fire. The judge will do what is written in the book. The judgment will involve angels and everyone will stand before the judgment seat. No one can escape judgment. But God promised salvation to His people. Do we believe that God is the Lord of judgment?

2. The vision of the little horn (v. 11)

Even when the judgment of God who is seated on the throne has begun, a beast with a small horn appears, boasting of his power and arrogantly speaking. Eventually, the beast is killed and its body is bruised and thrown into the burning fire. God judged the beasts and took the power of the remaining beasts. But the animal's life was not harvested until the appointed time. In due time, the beasts will face eternal judgment. God's judgment has already begun with the first coming of Christ, and Satan's power has begun to disappear. The final judgment will come at the time of Christ's retrial, when all evil forces, including Satan, will be brought to full judgment.

3. Vision of the Son of Man (verse 13)

Daniel sees another vision. I saw a man in the form of the Son of Man (Son of Man) riding on a cloud and being led to God. All nations and people served the Son of Man because God gave him his authority, glory, and kingdom. The Son of Man in the text refers to Jesus Christ. God gave his only begotten Son Jesus all glory and authority to rule over the kingdom of God and his people. Jesus' reign in the Messianic Kingdom is eternal, and that kingdom will last. Therefore, the saints should not focus on the phenomena that are immediately in front of them and act. Believe in Jesus Christ, who has the authority to judge this world, so that you can be saved. Let's praise Jesus, who has the power of God, that we are our Savior.

There are times in life when it seems that evil triumphs. But it is only temporary. In the last days, God will prove the eternity of His kingdom in judgment. God has invited us to be the people of the eternal kingdom. I hope you will become saints who keep the faith until the day you go to that country.
