Title Day. 40 Living a purposeful life

Contents

As I read “Life Driven by Purpose” for the past 40 days, I once again thought about what I had to do in this world and what kind of being I was made into.

First of all, thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to read such a wonderful book. I've heard of this book for a long time and I'm familiar with it, but I haven't been able to find it and read it as I don't have a lot of hobbies to read. However, starting in 2006, I received many thoughts and challenges while meditating and sharing this book over 40 lessons.

With many vaguely and complex concepts, I found the true purpose and meaning of my life because I couldn't organize it in my head, and this book organized and summarized them in one word to my stupid mind, who couldn't read God's mind well.

In fact, I meditated for 50 days, skipping a few days in the middle, but I learned a lot of lessons from this book when I was preparing for the changes in my career and future life ahead of graduation. It was a time when I realized how small and insignificant I am and how great and great God is, but because God loved me, planned me, and sent me to this earth, it was a time when I realized with my body that I became precious and unique. It was a time when I was able to find out on my own the countless wounds and pains I had in me that I had never seriously considered for the past 20 years… a feeling of inferiority… the wounds I had for myself.

Reading this book may not bring any major changes right away, but I think it is a great income to be able to open this book again when I feel that I am losing my purpose and meaning in life at some point in life. I don't know if it will be years or decades, but when I remember the amazing book I read before the last semester of college and have a chance to read it again, I don't just know the purpose of my life, but God wants me to be in the midst of this earth. Let's hope that we will not only know more clearly what we want to do, but also live that life practically. I remember reading that God is more interested in how I see life and how I live on this earth than what I do, what kind of person I marry, and what kind of house I live in.

Now, it is more important to practice and act than to know.

In James 1:22-23, James says:

“Be ye doers of the word, and do not be hearers only, receiving yourselves. If anyone hears the word and does not do it, he is like a man who looks at himself in a mirror and sees himself, and goes away and immediately forgets what he was like. I'll throw it away..."

The moment I close this book, I want to live a life where I do not forget myself, like I forget my face after closing the mirror, I remember it every day, I live and practice it, and I do not deceive myself.
