Title Day19 - Creating a Community
Contents
In order to cultivate whatever the object is, you need to spend more time set aside for the object you want to cultivate. As students, when we want to get even a little better grades than others in our studies, we need time to build deeper relationships with our friends and get to know each other - our precious lives.
The author also needs a lot of time and constant Guam to cultivate a community, talk about each other's shortcomings more frankly, build each other up, tolerate each other's shortcomings, and serve the members with humility.
In this way, I think that questions such as individual or community in the use of time can arise. However, to the extreme, I think that spending all of a person's time on the community or all for himself has a bad effect on the community to which that person belongs as well as drying up an individual's life. There are times when I think that the time to develop myself is often not enough when serving the community, but it is true that whenever I do that, I somehow feel atrophy and worry about the future. So, after I was discharged from the army in July 2004, there was a time when I was away from the community for 8 months. ^^ . Of course, I came back to the community in less than a year, but what I have come to know is that God is preparing for something beyond my common sense.
I learned that God is asking for the time given to me only to rely more on God and trust Him more. From the eyes of an unbeliever, it is clear that I am not making the most of my time. Serving the youth club and serving as the chief of the CCC in this year of the fourth year of university, obviously, because it makes it difficult for anyone to have less time to develop themselves. However, knowing that the people around me or the goal I want to achieve are not the master of my life, but the true master of all my life, the God I came to know through the cross of Jesus, I try to spend my time in the midst of such worries.
I believe that serving Jesus Village brings me true growth and a clear goal of life. At the same time, it is my dream this year to share a more honest life with the people around me, and to become more humble and create a vibrant and living community.
I hope you will pray with us. I will not slow down my zeal for prayer. I long for the abundant prayer where we can go beyond praying alone and share each other's burdens together.
