Title DAY 9. Making God Smile

Contents

“May God smile at you.” (Numbers 6:25)

Yes. Lord. Smile at me, your servant. Teach me how to live right.”

(Psalm 119:135)

A life that pleases God and pleases God.

A certain missionary shared that he was pleased with God on his way down from the disaster relief ministry in Pakistan. I was so moved by those words, and I thought, how wonderful it would be if I could feel that God was pleased with me, and it seemed like nothing in the world could compare to it. From that day on, I have made pleasing God and pleasing God my motto in life.

to make God smile. I really want to learn what pleases God. Just as Noah was “a person who is pleasing to the Lord” (a person who received favor), I also want to become such a person to God. But what is really touching is that, as we meditated on yesterday, God has designed us for His joy. It is truly moving because our existence itself is the joy of God. Now, although he may not be completely joyful because of sin, I still believe that He expresses great joy in our small achievements, small obedience, and small growth. Because they think that the heart of parents looking at their children is like that. Parents are very aware of their child's level, so they are very happy when, no matter how small, they show themselves to be better than they were before, something they could not have done before. Perhaps, as the author said, you will be delighted just by sleeping.

When we love God the most, trust Him completely, obey Him with all our hearts, give thanks and praise every day, and faithfully use His powers, He looks at us and smiles. I believe that God looked at me at dawn and smiled.

Is there anything you love more than God? Are there areas where you don't trust God? Are there areas of disobedience? Is there gratitude and praise in my life? Are you spending your day conscientiously?

I hope that laziness will leave my life and I ask the Holy Spirit to help me. Trust the promises of God, that God guides my life and will never leave me alone, and trust the present situation to Him. Let us believe that if we pray to God with prayer and supplication with thanksgiving without worrying about anything, He will keep our thoughts from fear.

Praise God. Thank God.

Please teach me how to live righteously in this world where it is difficult for me to discern the truth because I lack wisdom. Admonish and guide my life.
