Sermons for Preaching

Title Day of Punishment/Mic 7:1-4

Content This text: Mi 7:1-4

Subject: Day of Punishment

I. There are no honest people (1-2).

A. It is as precious as finding summer fruits in winter.

1. Honesty is one of God's attributes.

2. The economy is much more prosperous than in the past, and we live in a world where we live in abundance in every way, but honesty has become more precious.

3. Christians must bear the fruit of honesty. But in reality this is not the case. Now, 25% of the earth's population are Christians, but why can't we see an honest man nonetheless?

4. There is a reason we give up honesty. The structure of this world is that only honest people are supposed to suffer.

5. What are the measures to live honestly in such an evil world? It is the only way to arm yourself with the faith of martyrdom. In the past, martyrs were martyred while fighting persecutors, but now, in order to keep the truth, we must become martyrs of the truth against injustice.

B. Everyone has become a beast.

1. As a hunter digs a hole to catch a wild beast and hides, today's era has become a scary world.

2. It has become a world where even brothers are harmed for profit. They even kidnap and kill their nephews for money.

II. Justice is missing (3-4).

A. He is zealous for evil.

1. Management demands more. In the past, there was a thing called facilitation payments. Although it is said that a lot of it has been removed due to social cleanup or nonsense, there is still nothing that cannot be done without money.

2. Justice has disappeared from the courthouse, the bastion of justice. Without a lawyer, he could not even assert his rights. It has become common knowledge that even if you use a lawyer, your judgment will change depending on how much money you spend.

3. Government officials have also become slaves to money. The outing to the House of Representatives and the Suseo case are just the tip of the iceberg.

4. According to a survey conducted by Sisa Journal, two wealthy chaebols were included among the 10 people who moved the country. A dark age is opening in which a virtuous leader or wise man moves the country, not with money.

B. The standard has been lost.

1. Even the most good people bleed like thorns pierce a person. In other words, the standard is gone.

2. Standards are eternal promises that must never be changed. But for the sake of profit, even the standards were mercilessly ignored. There are traders who cheat on scales to make profit, and the case of an apartment building in a new city that uses materials that do not meet the standards and was discovered and demolished is only a section of this era.

conclusion

1. A watchman in the age of saints and a stronghold of conscience.

2. Those who engage in commerce should use the right scales to keep the truth.

3. Public officials should glorify God through their duties.

4. We are all servants of the Lord. Pastors are not the only servants of God.
