What is a blessing to one person may not be a blessing to another. Through Moses, God allowed each tribe to seek blessings tailored to their unique characteristics and circumstances. What blessings are we receiving? Through the text, we want to think about whether it is truly a blessing for ourselves.

1. The blessing of the tribe of Joseph (verses 13-17)

The tribe of Joseph means the two tribes of Ephraim and Manasseh. If Moses prayed for the political and blessing of a royal family to the tribe of Judah and the religious blessing of a priest to the tribe of Levi, he wished the tribe of Joseph material blessings. Joseph had the misfortune of being sold into Egypt as a slave by his brothers, but he experienced the grace of turning around to become the prime minister of Egypt. Besides, he is also a manager and welfare worker who saved the country by preparing for the bad years in times of abundance. He walked with God in times of trouble and did not sin with his lips. Even in the face of temptation, he kept his holiness by acting like a person standing before God. God gave such Joseph the blessing of the firstborn in place of Reuben and the abundance of material things. We too can live a prosperous life if we do not lose our holiness.

2. Blessings on the tribes of Zebulun and Issachar (verses 18-19)

Zebulun blesses them to prosper through sea trade. Issachar said that he would build up a fortune in his house, which is a prophecy of an agricultural life. Moses prophesied that they would enjoy the blessing of inviting foreigners to a mountain village and offering ritual sacrifices to the Lord. The greatest blessing is to become a worshiper. It is one of the blessings that children will enjoy when their passion for worship does not cool down and they have a heart to fear God. We pray that our children will also reach out to the wider world and live the life of worshipers there.

3. Blessings on the tribe of Gad (verses 20-21)

He blesses the tribe of Gad that they will enlarge their land and that they will live valiantly and strong. There is also a saying that they will possess good land, but in fact, the tribe of Gad was given the land east of the Jordan River along with Reuben and the half tribe of Manasseh from Moses. They promise and keep their promise to stand at the vanguard until the war to occupy the western Jordan is over as a condition of the land distribution. In any era, there is fierce competition. And in it, the strong survived. To be strong and courageous is God's constant word of encouragement to His children. In addition, if you live a life of sacrifice for the sake of other communities with that strength, it will be the joy of God.

God wants us to live a prosperous and prosperous life, and also a courageous and enterprising life. He also wants to live as a faithful worshiper. May we and our children's lives prosper in the Lord like Moses' blessing, and may they become lives that conquer and rule the world.

<Prayer>

2. Let new families register every week and overflow with the thrill of salvation through the Word!
