Title: Distinguish the Times
The farmer sows seeds in the spring to sow the seeds in the fall to get a bountiful harvest. But seeds are not sown at any time. The process is also complicated to obtain single grain rice, which is our main food. Unlike other grains, rice is not sown immediately by sown seeds in the paddy field, but is sown in the paddy field only after going through various processes.
To germinate rice seeds, the rice seeds must first be sterilized by soaking them in brine, then rinse under running water and soak in clean water for a few more days. will be. Then, the sprouted rice seeds are sprinkled on a well-groomed nail plate to allow the rice to grow.
When the rice (rice) has grown to a certain extent, it is pulled out and transplanted back into a large paddy field. Then, when the rice grows to a certain extent and summer approaches, weeds begin to sprout between the rice stalks, and it must be plucked. Paddy cultivated with such care turns into full-bodied grains in the fall. It is then held in the hands of the owner and stored in the shed.
If it is said that even a grain of rice that enters our mouth enters our stomach through such a complicated process, how complex and subtle would God's farming be? It's because we don't know all of them, but if we choose to know them one by one, they're so complicated that the tiny human head won't even have a place to store even ten thousandths of them.
However, even if humans do not know all of God's deep will, it is truly amazing that only the Son knows His will and providence. As humans living in sin, only through the Son of God can we understand God's will and providence to some extent. it will be known The saying to discern the times is in the same vein.
In our farming rules, we must sow seeds in spring, wean seaweed in summer, and harvest in autumn. However, even though it is already autumn and it is time to harvest, you should not continue to sow seeds. This is against the laws of nature, that is, the laws of God. Yes, you can't get anything out of it.
Likewise, God, becoming a farmer, sows seeds in spring, sows weeds in summer, and looks forward to a bountiful harvest as it enters the fruiting season in order to obtain a true harvest in the fields of this world. However, the foolish people who do not know this continue to think that it is still spring and sow only seeds, while there are fools who are weeding only when the yellow rice is ripening.
We must be able to discern the times. When the sky is full of dark clouds and the south wind blows, “Ah! It looks like it's going to rain." It is foolish people who know how to destroy the spirit of Cheon-ki, but do not know how to break the flow of the times. Since spring is the season for sowing seeds, suitable agricultural equipment is required. However, the foolish farmer who does not know this is carrying the farm equipment used in spring even though it is the season of autumn harvest.
Under the law, the law is the supreme law. Because no Jew could come before God except through the law. However, the law is only a visible instrument that is only a model compared to Christ. The fact that Christ came before the Jews who were living under the law, which was only a visible example, is a wonderful blessing indeed.
But to those who knew only the law as the supreme law, Christ must have seemed like a monster. To put this in another way, the season has already turned into autumn and it is time to harvest, but it is the same as saying that a person who still knows that the season is spring and does not know the time to see the one who is coming to harvest in the autumn is crazy.
God cultivates agriculture in this world through human beings, and he raises up suitable people for each season to farm. In the spring, a suitable person is appointed there to sow the seed; in the summer, a suitable person is raised there to weed, and in the autumn, a suitable person is raised for the harvest.
What we must understand here is that both the spring sower and the summer weeder have been farming through your servants, but the autumn harvest is always through your son. The reason is that the wheat is the same status as God Himself.
This principle is very important when we look at the seeds that are first sown in the ground when we are farming. But after germination, the seed rots and disappears. From then on, I focus my whole mind on making sure the sprouts grow well.
When the buds give out lush leaves and grow, weeds are pulled out around the grains to take good care of them so that they do not take any more nutrients from the grains. In autumn, when the grains ripen one by one, focus on the grains so that the grains ripen well. And he cares for the grains every day, in case birds come and peck them.
Even if you only properly understand the principles of farming, you can understand the providence of God to some extent, but foolish humans do not understand such a principle at all. Even though the seeds sown in the first place have already disappeared, they grab the chaff, which is only an empty husk, and when it dies as a grain, the lion is holding onto it only. there is a self
Others are born in summer, and when they see a leafy stem and die because it is a grain, there are others who just hang on to it and hang on to it. “No one drinks old wine and desires new, for they say that the old is good.” For these people, these words fit perfectly.
Just as a peasant farmer changes his equipment from season to season, God also uses His servants with the right people in each age. And the first seed is important, the leaves and stems are important, but more important than that is the valuable kernel.
A person who does not know how to separate the ages may be holding on to only the seeds sown in the first place, or holding on to the leafy stems and liking them. should know
No matter how smart you are in this world, if you do not realize this, you are a fool and belong to a foolish person. Those who do not understand this cannot receive the Son of God who comes in the form of a human being. Foolish Christians who do not understand this even now, do not know when it is now, sow only seeds, while others are weeding.
However, with the seeds sown now, an autumn harvest cannot be expected. And even with the weeding we have now done, we cannot expect an autumn harvest because all the nutrients have already been taken from the weeds. Now, the only thing left to do is sort out the grains.
Therefore, all that remains now is the work of the harvesters of the Son of God. However, those who have practiced lawlessness and have lived their life freely will surely be rewarded for it.
