Title Do it in the Holy Spirit

Contents

Main text: Galatians 5:25-26

What is the most beautiful horse in the universe? The first is the family, the second is the baby, and the third is the church. Then, what are the most beautiful words in the church? The first is grace, the second is gratitude, and the third is obedience. The first of these is grace. It is the grace of God, the grace of Jesus.

So where does ‘grace’ come from? It comes from the ‘Spirit’.

“You have been blessed.” “I have received the Holy Spirit.” The phrase “given the gift” is used in almost the same sense in the church. Just as a Christian must live by faith, we must let the Holy Spirit rule everything. Just as the repentance movement started by Southern Methodist Missionary Hardy in 1930 became a spark of the Holy Spirit that blew strongly in Pyongyang in 1907, a spiritual repentance movement (Job 22:23) must arise.

And the revival movement (Nehemiah 8:1-10), the prayer movement (Jeremiah 33:3), the evangelism movement (Ezekiel 33:8-9), the hope movement, and the glory movement through the Word come to life strongly, and the They must be children.

As descendants of John Wesley, who transformed the kingdom of pirates into the kingdom of gentlemen by being filled with the Holy Spirit in 1738, we are 'the alter ego of Jesus Christ' who desire to be filled with the Holy Spirit.

Therefore, we must walk ‘like Jesus’ and in the Holy Spirit. We must pray with the Holy Spirit (Matt 4:2), preach the word with the Holy Spirit, work miracles with the Holy Spirit (Mt 10:28), and heal with the Holy Spirit. (Acts 10:38)

Jesus never transcended and, of course, did not limit the Holy Spirit, the Holy Spirit of God.

In Matthew 1:18, he was conceived by the Holy Spirit, and in Matthew 3:16, when he was baptized, the Holy Spirit came upon him like a dove. In Matthew 4:2, when he went to pray in the wilderness, he was led by the Holy Spirit to pray. In Matthew 12:28, he cast out demons with the Holy Spirit, and in Luke 10:21, even the things that pleased him were done by the Holy Spirit. Therefore, we should hope to do everything through the Holy Spirit. You must pray.

Then what kind of work will happen if the Holy Spirit does it?

First, we do it for the glory of God.

Second, we who are weak will be used.

We are but fragile lives. Humans are fragile and fragile, and if they stop breathing, they become a handful of soil. As soon as animals are born, they walk around and eat food. However, people need to be looked after no matter how old they are. When an earthquake or flood is imminent, the beast senses it in advance and runs away or flees, but we humans are so fragile that we don't even know a second ahead. I know the past and present, but I don't know the future. If a person knew only one second ahead, there would be no traffic accident.

100 meters in 1 second on the highway. If you know that an accident is going to happen, you can avoid the collision. But people die because they don't know what's ahead of them for a second. Human beings are fragile lives that do not even know one inch ahead.

God hears and uses this lack of life. Look at the Bible. David was a shepherd. Jesus' disciple Peter was also a fisherman. However, because the Holy Spirit did it, the poor people were greatly used.

Look at Peter and John. These were cowards who denied knowing Jesus and cursed them. They were cowards who were hiding from a distance when Jesus was crucified. But after receiving the Holy Spirit, I boldly preach the gospel.

See Acts 4:18-20.

"Called them and warned them not to speak or teach in the name of Jesus at all." Peter and John answered and said, "Whether it is right in the sight of God to listen to you rather than to God. Because they do it with the Holy Spirit, even if they threaten to kill them if they preach the gospel, they will be used as evangelists who boldly declare, “We have no choice but to preach what we have seen and heard.”

Third, my spirit comes to life.

In John 6:63 it says, “It is the Spirit that gives life; the flesh is of no avail. The words I have spoken to you are spirit and are life.”

Human beings are made up of spirit, soul and body. The fact that the human spirit is dead means that only the body and soul are alive, so it is the same as the beast. That's why it's called a "beast-like guy" when it comes to crime. Now our spirits must come alive. My spirit must live to save the spirits of others. If my spirit lives, other families will also come alive. When my spirit lives, the church will live and the nation will be blessed. Hallelujah!

If we do not do it through the Holy Spirit, God is not pleased. The slogan of the Methodist Church is “The Methodist Church that gives hope, faithful people.” This too can only be done by the Holy Spirit.
